Maureen Evans

Maureen's murder is one of the most surprising Scream deaths and tragic to watch. Maureen is an important and memorable character in the horror franchise and her role in the opening sequence of the Scream sequel can never be forgotten.

Jenny Randall

Jenny and her friend Marnie Cooper are watching Stab 7 in the smart opening sequence of Scream 4. While Jenny is a fan of the genre and has seen the entire franchise-within-a-franchise, Marnie isn't thrilled to watch something terrifying.

When Jenny scares Marnie and pretends to be Ghostface, she becomes a minor character who feels like a major one, as she has a fun-loving, confident personality. Although this isn't the nicest thing to do to a friend, audiences can see that Jenny is just trying to be playful. Sadly, both friends are killed by Ghostface.

Rebecca Walters

Rebecca appears in Scream 4 as the publicist working with Sidney to help spread the word about the memoir that she has written. Rebecca's death scene is a memorable one as Ghostface chases her around a parking garage and kills her.

While Rebecca is a minor character, she is unforgettable thanks to how happy she is that Ghostface is back. While it's shocking to see a character act this way, Rebecca is a fully formed person whose motivations and intentions are made perfectly clear. Rebecca thinks that this will be good for the book's sales and she says on the phone, "Payday. I was so not feeling Woodsboro. I was like, 'Lame PR move...' Best. Idea. Ever."

Olivia Morris

Olivia is Jill and Kirby's good friend in Scream 4 and is another intelligent Scream character. Although Olivia dies early on in the movie and doesn't appear in too many scenes, Olivia feels like an interesting character who audiences would be happy to see get more screen time.

Whether joking around with her friends or itting that she's scared of Ghostface, Olivia is a relatable character who is a great addition to this movie.

Jennifer Jolie

As the actress who plays Gale in Stab, Jennifer is a hilarious and unforgettable character, one of the best from Scream 3.

Jennifer has studied the real Gale and done her best to create a perfect portrayal, and while Gale might not love that someone is playing her since she likes to have the spotlight on her at all times, Jennifer is an enjoyable character to watch. There's a particularly hilarious scene when Jennifer tells Gale that she's a target because Gale is: "So that if someone wants to kill me, I'll be with you and since they really wanna kill you, they won't kill me, they'll kill you, make sense?"

Mark Kincaid

Scream (2022) has great characters and when fans see Sidney again, she shares that she's married to Mark and they have children now. Mark is a Scream 3 minor character who is a detective.

After Cotton Weary is killed, Mark begins working with Gale to see if he can crack the Ghostface case. Mark and Sidney have obvious chemistry and it's sweet watching Sidney begin to think about possibly building a future with someone.

Cici Cooper

Scream fans love watching Sarah Michelle Gellar play sorority member Cici in Scream 2. As Cici is alone at the house, she gets a creepy phone call and realizes that she's part of a horror movie trope that might not end well for her.

Cici is witty, clever, and has a debate in film class with Randy about violent movies. Cici isn't afraid to go up against Randy, who does know a lot about the subject but can sometimes be full of himself, and fans love this character.

Principal Arthur Himbry

Although Principal Himbry only appears in Scream briefly, he makes an impression on fans who him as a fun-loving, funny side character.

Himbry's best scene is when he yells at students for dres like Ghostface and trying to scare others, as Himbry knows that this is a terrible and cruel thing to do. It's sad seeing Ghostface kill Himbry since he is such a kind character who isn't afraid to stand up for what's right.

Martha Meeks

Martha is a brave Scream (2022) character who fans also see in Scream 3. As Randy's sister, Martha shows Sidney a tape that Randy recorded before his horrible death.

Since Martha is a family member of a beloved character, and she seems to be a sweet, smart person who is grieving her brother's tragic death while also raising kids in the latest movie, fans can see Martha as so much more than a minor character.

Hallie McDaniel

Fans get to know Sidney's best friend Hallie in Scream 2 who also goes to Windsor College. Mickey Altieri murders Hallie before the end of the movie.

Hallie is an important character as her friendship means a lot to Sidney since Sidney is at a tough and vulnerable moment in her life after surviving the events of the first movie. It's moving seeing Sidney form a close friendship and hard to watch Sidney lose another person who means a lot to her.
