While Superstore have totally different settings and premises, both focus on quirky friendships. Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer use their humor and wit to get out of frustrating situations, and Amy and her co-workers try their best to smile despite working long hours, not getting paid enough, and being undervalued by corporate.

While the characters of Seinfeld have trouble keeping jobs and the employees of Cloud 9 remain at their store, many of these characters would bond quickly and form lasting friendships. But while some would be fast friends, others seem like they would have trouble getting along.

Would Work: Elaine And Amy

While Elaine has her moments of immaturity, she's definitely got a better head on her shoulders than her friends, just like Amy is often the most mature one in the break room at the Cloud 9 store.

It seems like Elaine and Amy would get along well, as they could complain about co-workers and bosses, talk about their big dreams, and tell hilarious stories about their friends. They're both strong, independent, and smart, and Amy's positive attitude might inspire Elaine.

Turn Ugly: George And Marcus

George is famous for his lies and for coming up with schemes and ways to get out of work. Marcus on Superstore feels the same way, and he would definitely rather hang out and chat with his co-workers than actually get something done.

But because George and Marcus are silly characters who don't always take life seriously, it seems like they wouldn't get along at all. They might annoy each other and find that the other person complains too much about work. Marcus might also be jealous that George can talk his way into jobs and sometimes doesn't seem to need to work at all.

Would Work: Kramer And Marcus

Kramer, on the other hand, would likely get along great with Marcus and they would become the best of friends. Kramer and Marcus both have a happy-go-lucky attitude and seem to live in the reality that they want to.

It's easy to picture Kramer and Marcus coming up with a business idea or scheme, and it would be hilarious to see this duo in action. Maybe Kramer would even get a job at Cloud 9 and come up with a new system that is just quirky enough to work.

Turn Ugly: Jerry And Jonah

If Jerry and Jonah got a chance to talk, it seems like Jonah would annoy Jerry immediately. While Jonah and Amy shared many wonderful moments, he could definitely be pretentious and he was often lecturing his co-workers and trying to prove how smart he was.

Jerry might come up with a stand-up routine based on his interaction with Jonah, wondering why he talks about himself all the time. It's hard to see them being able to chat happily and understand each other.

Would Work: Frank And Glenn

Frank pointing his finger on Seinfeld and Glenn in his Cloud 9 uniform in the store on Superstore

As the manager of Cloud 9 before Amy takes over, Glenn is naive and innocent, and he'll believe almost anything. This is exactly why he would become friends with George's dad, Frank.

Frank is prone to random outbursts of anger and ion, and he loves to talk. Glenn would be fascinated that someone could get this upset on a regular basis, as Glenn does his best to stay cool, calm, and collected, and it's hard to picture him getting angry. Glenn would likely find Frank to be very interesting and smart.

Turn Ugly: George And Bo

It might not seem like George and Bo have anything in common, but they're both slackers in a way, and they both like to get away with doing as little work as possible. Bo also makes mistakes but doesn't seem to care, which makes him tough to root for.

Besides not enjoying hard work, George and Bo wouldn't likely have anything to talk about. George loves to discuss ideas about daily life with his best friend Jerry, and he might confuse Bo, who is pretty ditzy.

Would Work: Jerry And Mateo

Jerry and Mateo both have great senses of humor and they're good at finding the humor in everyday situations. They would enjoy talking to each other and would definitely make each other laugh.

Jerry would want to sit down with Mateo and ask all about working at Cloud 9, and he might get some jokes about shopping at a retail store out of it.

Turn Ugly: Newman And Sandra

Sandra is always looking for friends, but since Newman doesn't work very hard at his job as a mailman and can seem pretty harsh, Sandra would never want to spend time with him.

Sandra is a sweet person who tries hard at Cloud 9 and just wants to be liked. She can be insecure and Newman's love of scheming and strong personality wouldn't appeal to her. She would wonder why he spent so much time working on these silly ideas.

Would Work: Newman And Marcus

Marcus is in a good mood most of the time and seems to want to get along with anyone and everyone. If he met Newman, it's easy to see these two characters getting along well.

Newman and Marcus might come up with a plan for making Cloud 9 a better store, and maybe Newman would even get a job working with Marcus in the warehouse. Newman enjoyed hanging out with Kramer, so he definitely seems to enjoy having a close friendship in his life.

Turn Ugly: George And Amy

George on Seinfeld and Amy smiling at Cloud 9 store on Superstore

Amy is smart and goal-oriented and it's so satisfying to watch her work her way up at Cloud 9. While she has a solid work ethic, the same thing can't be said for George, who often enjoyed his bouts of unemployment.

Amy and George would likely have a tough time getting along and they wouldn't know what to talk about. George would think that Amy worked way too hard and cared too much, and Amy would think that George should find a career that he's ionate about.
