Selling The OC explores the lives of the agents at the Oppenheim Group’s Orange County offices, including Kayla Cardona. While Kayla had been one of the more controversial agents throughout Selling The OC season 1, season 2 saw her turning over a new leaf. She did stir up a bit of drama, but for the most part, the season followed some larger drama at the Oppenheim Group after the fallout from Tyler Stanaland’s divorce.

During Selling The OC season 1, the agents pushed Kayla for her near-kiss with Tyler while he was still married to Brittany Snow. When she learned Polly and Tyler had made out, she called Polly out for her behavior after dealing with some rough treatment from Polly herself. Kayla also felt put off by Alex Hall’s relationship with Tyler and was quick to share her take. During Selling The OC season 3, Kayla came back better than ever with one of the highest lists at the office to date. However, this didn't stop her fellow agents from dragging her name.
