The cast of Selling the OC has largely remained the same since season 1. Selling the OC aired its third season on Netflix in early May 2024. Polly Brindle, and Brandi Mashall have been the leading females in the Orange County office. Jason has been the main face of the OC office between the Oppenheim twins. With both shows being such massive successes, it begs the question of whether there are more spinoffs planned for the franchise's future.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Selling Sunset Has Made Headlines On & Off Camera
The Show & Cast Have Been Entertaining
Selling Sunset has been serving quality workplace drama and highlighting drama in the lives of the O Group's LA office agents. Between Chrishell's off-camera divorce, her on-camera romance with her boss Jason, and her LGBTQ+ relationship with G Flip, Chrishell has always made headlines. Early Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn was a huge show villain in the five seasons she appeared. Her off-screen life has been just as wild, with her alleged domestic violence incidents with her estranged husband, Christian Richard, and their custody battle over their young son.
The ever-changing and volatile dynamics among the Selling Sunset cast have brought OMG moments with different cliques forming and catty claims being thrown in every direction. Jason, who also dated Mary and other Selling Sunset agent Nicole Young, was also dating a 25-year-old, Marie-Lou Nurk, in season 7 when he was 47 years old. There is every indication Selling Sunset will continue airing the details of the cast's personal and professional lives while they try to sell multi-million dollar real estate.
Selling The OC Has Been A Huge Success
The Drama Has Been Widespread
Drama is just as high in Selling the OC. Alex Hall seems to be at the center of most of the drama as she has earned herself the title of villain on the spinoff. Her romance with Tyler, mean girl attitude, and endeavor to slander Kayla Cardona has been cringy to watch. Austin Victoria's drama with Sean Palmieri in season 3 was also a highlight of the three seasons because the rumors circulating about Austin and his wife being swingers were interesting. The Selling the OC office is also the most successful of the two offices according to Jason in Selling Sunset season 3.
Several broken friendships and working relationships have been showcased, like the one between Alexandra Jarvis and Alexandra Rose, and the downfall of Brandi's relationship with Alex Hall. Moreover, the narrative that reputation means everything in the OC is ever-present throughout the show. The cast has also hit milestones in their personal lives like Gio having a baby, Tyler getting a divorce, and Jarvis getting married.
The Oppenheim Group Is Expanding
There Are Two More Offices
In the early seasons of Selling Sunset, Jason and Brett spoke about the opening of their OC office. In Selling the OC season 2 and Selling Sunset season 7, both offices individually headed down to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where Jason and Brett opened their first international office, making it the third office under their umbrella.
In Selling the OC season 3, Jason and Brett announced the opening of their San Diego office, which means business is booming for the Oppenheim twins.
Does The Real Estate Market Slow Down Effect The Show?
Has It Been Harder For The Agents To Make Deals?
Since the realtors in the Selling Sunset franchise are dealing with the ultra-rich, the crazy interest rates of the American market haven't seemed to affect their clientele.
If anything, the LA mansion tax and the home owners insurance costs in California have been playing bigger factors over the market rates. The O Group real estate agents in both offices have mentioned the inflation of the market and how it's been harder to find sellers and buyers, but business still appears to be booming. Gio Helou alone sold over $100 million dollars in Selling the OC season 2, filmed in 2023.
More Selling Sunet Spinoffs Would Likely Do Well (But Nothing Is Confirmed)
Buying London Recently Aired
Since the O Group is expanding, the cast has been quality, the drama has been entertaining, and the fact that the real estate market will always be there, an expansion of the Selling Sunset franchise does not seem improbable. More spinoffs would likely do well for the the pilot season of Buying London, which has nothing to do with Jason and Brett Oppenheim.
However, Buying London, like its similarly-constructed Selling Sunset US counterpart, is about the real estate market, but this time in London. The London agents' lives and drama are at the show's center. Netflix could be testing the waters with the international edition of a reality real estate show to gauge interest among viewers. If Buying London does well, there may be no need for a Selling Cabo or Selling San Diego spinoff since the Netflix reality real estate shows would likely be saturated.
Filming for Selling Sunset season 8 has reportedly already wrapped up, meaning there is more LA O Group office drama on the horizon. There have been several cast departures in Selling the OC, so a fourth season, which has not been confirmed, would likely shake things up. The Selling Sunset franchise could benefit from adding additional spinoffs, or it could continue thriving with the two core shows it has now.
Selling Sunset seasons 1-7 and Selling the OC season 1-3 are available to stream on Netflix.
