Selling Sunset season 7 will feature more of her and fellow agent Nicole Young’s fiery, ongoing feud. Nicole is a veteran agent of the Oppenheim Group, but last season was her first appearance as one of the stars. With little context provided, Nicole seemed to have a bone to pick with Chrishell. She eventually explained her issue with the fan-favored, longtime Selling Sunset star, and it supposedly had something to do with a sale the two partnered on several years prior. Things escalated rather quickly when the O group gals took a trip to Palm Springs in Selling Sunset season 6.
In an interview with Selling Sunset season 7 and several "s***shows" fans can expect in the season. Chrishell claimed Nicole brought her "attitude" into the new season, itting it made her "a little fed up" and placed her in the middle of the drama again--but this time in Cabo, where the real estate agents vacationed. Chrishell hinted that Nicole extended her issue to some of the other agents. "It's one thing to kind of go after me, but then when you start to go after my friends for no reason...a s***show ensues." The way Chrishell talked about Nicole implied their conflict is still unresolved.
Chrishell & Nicole's Selling Sunset Feud Explained
The dispute between the two real estate agents supposedly stems from a work-related situation involving Jason Oppenheim years ago. In Selling Sunset season 6, Nicole claimed she wasn't a fan of Chrishell because Jason compensated her for a t listing of theirs that Nicole felt she deserved all the credit for. What prompted such an aggressive response from Chrishell, aside from the problem being bygone and petty, was that Nicole took it too far when she insinuated Jason only credited Chrishell for the listing because he had a "crush" on her. This deeply offended both of them because Chrishell was still married to actor Justin Hartley.
Chrishell and Nicole continued taking jabs at each other and creating scenes at their co-worker's professional events, with acting boss Mary Fitzgerald unable to get her friends to call a truce. Mary's last attempt was to plan a girls' trip to Palm Springs, which ended up birthing the worst argument they had. In what some called a "below-the-belt" move, Chrishell accused Nicole of being on drugs. Such an accusation is not appropriate, but Nicole exerted an unnecessary amount of effort in going after Chrishell. The trip ended with Nicole insisting on taking a drug test to prove her innocence and then threatening to file a defamation lawsuit against Chrishell.
The explosive feud between the two led to Chrishell being called the biggest troublemaker of Selling Sunset in Christine Quinn's absence. As it stood before Chrishell's interview with EW, the agents hadn't settled their issues but had at least hit pause on blasting each other publicly. After their stint of back-and-forth on social media, Nicole tried to call a truce, but whether they made progress wasn't followed through on. There is no confirmation that Nicole ever took the necessary steps to sue Chrishell for defamation either. It seems impossible for Selling Sunset season 7 to top the drama seen last season, but it just might.
