Ninja Theory showed off a bit more of its anticipated sequel, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, today, giving fans a glimpses of the game’s upgraded weather system. The studio’s original title released nearly four years ago, leaving fans of the beautiful and brutal adventure eager for more and ready for Ninja Theory’s follow-up.
Looks at the title’s world have been fleeting, however. The team a video diary from Senua’s actress, Melina Juergens. The footage mostly focuses on the work going into creating the character and her performance for the game, though there are a few snippets of the end result sprinkled in.
In this newest look at Senua's Saga: Hellblade II’s world, first game on xCloud to full touch controls. A little over thirty seconds long, the footage does not reveal much of the game. There are a few notes in red at the top left corner about rebuilding elements of the landscape. It seems there is still a lot of work to do before Hellblade II releases.
Despite being shown almost two years ago at The Game Awards in 2019, not much is known about Ninja Theory’s sequel. The initial reveal trailer, while powerful, had very little information on what players could expect to experience moment-to-moment in the game. Fans are still unsure when the title might release.
It may be that fans will get more details on Senua's Saga: Hellblade II soon, with the summer season of announcements quickly approaching. The Xbox exclusive title will hopefully make an appearance at the recently announced Xbox and Bethesda showcase on June 13.
