Netflix's Sex/Life was renewed for season 2 in September of last year.
Now, an update on the status of the season 2 has been shared by TV Line. The publication reports that five new actors have ed the cast of Sex/Life. Among them is Wallis Day, Batwoman's Kate Kane who stepped in for Ruby Rose to wrap up the character's story satisfactorily. Besides Day, who plays Gigi, Orphan Black's Dylan Bruce, Sex and the City's Craig Bierko, Rosewell, New Mexico's Cleo Anthony, and Succession's Darius Homayoun have also been locked in to recur as Spencer, Mick, Kam, and Majid, respectively.
Sex/ Life season 1 ended on a cliffhanger, with Billie at a crossroads. She can either choose to continue life as is with Cooper, or give up everything to set off on an adventure with Brad. Her decision will, therefore, form the basis for season 2, which will likely be even more dramatic than Sex/Life's freshman run, given that some new players are entering the picture. At the moment, it's hard to predict what the cast additions would entail for Sex/ Life's central trio, since no specific details have been given about their characters. However, viewers should brace themselves for devastating heartbreaks, fiery romances, and - as is always the case - some very intimate scenes.
