Marvel'sproduction on multiple TV shows has shut down, either as a preventative measure or because a crew member came into with COVID-19.

Yesterday, it was reported first unit production on continue with second unit production (among other things), while Cretton waits to get the results of his test back. In the meantime, Liu (aka. Shang-Chi himself) has taken to social media to provide his followers with an update on the situation.

In a post on Instagram, Liu confirmed Shang-Chi's main unit is "going to take a couple days off while some people on our staff undergo precautionary testing" for the coronavirus. However, he remains optimistic about the situation and, in characteristic fashion, kept things light-hearted by posting a shirtless photo of himself from the comedy series Awkwafina is Nora from Queens. For context, Cretton hasn't actually its tentative release date. Of course, as evidenced by the more recent developments in the coronavirus outbreak, it's probably best to not assume too much, and simply wait and see what happens next.

Keeping that in mind, it's encouraging to see by taking these extra measures, the film and television industries will avoid contributing to the spread of the disease (creating even bigger issues than delayed filming or release dates down the road). In the meantime, Screen Rant will continue to keep you posted on everything that's happening with Shang-Chi as more information becomes available.
