As the MCU timeline. One of the biggest highlights was Charlie Cox showing up for a few episodes as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen, which led to a temporary fling between him and Jennifer.

During The Monkey premiere that recently took place, ScreenRant's own Tessa Smith spoke with Tatiana Maslany where she was asked about the recent comments that while Matt Murdock's appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is canon, it won't be mentioned in Daredevil: Born Again, and whether or not she would be open to show up as the MCU heroine. Maslany stated that she would love to have She-Hulk stop by Daredevil: Born Again, as she shared the following:

Tatiana Maslany: Would I be born again? I mean, absolutely, he was so great. He was so fun, like a really fun person to play with. And I think what he did so well was take a character that exists in a different tone and totally adapt him for this new tone, while still maintaining the integrity of the character, which is actually very funny, then. To see him collide with this sort of goofier world.

ScreenRant: I think you could come in and be a little serious.

Tatiana Maslany: I agree. I have a serious, well, I have a lot of serious bones in my body.

What Tatiana Maslany's Comments Mean For Daredevil: Born Again

While She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was a superhero-dramedy, which leaned more toward the light-hearted side of the titular heroine, it doesn't mean that the character couldn't fit into a gritter series like Daredevil: Born Again. One of the points that has started to get lost about an interconnected universe is that there can be multiple tones that, in the long term, can also blend together with the right execution. If handled right, the Daredevil: Born Again TV show could easily explore more serious sides of She-Hulk, and make her fit into the series.

Cox's appearances on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, followed by his cameo in Echo, are perfect examples of how a complex character like Matt can have layers and be more than simply one thing. The same goes for She-Hulk if she were part of the Daredevil: Born Again story in any capacity, as Jennifer would likely be put in situations with Matt where things are more intense than they were in her MCU show. In theory, Daredevil. Born Again could highlight her strengths as an attorney, whether it's dealing with someone like Wilson Fisk or other criminal cases in New York.

Our Take On Tatiana Maslany's Comments

Daredevil kissing Jennifer Walters in She-Hulk Attorney at Law

From everything Maslany shared about her interest in visiting Daredevil: Born Again, it would be incredible to see her and Cox working together again, especially after their amazing chemistry in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. While it doesn't appear that season 1 will feature She-Hulk at all, there is always Daredevil: Born Again season 2, which is being worked on this year. Hopefully, whether it is in the near or distant future, Daredevil: Born Again will get to stage a reunion between Matt and She-Hulk in one way or another.

The Monkey opens in theaters on February 21.
