Silo season 2 will continue Juliette's journey now that she has left her silo, while those left behind grapple with the fallout of her departure.
On Rotten Tomatoes, Silo season 2 has debuted with a 100% Tomatometer score, which is a significant improvement over season 1's 66% Popcornmeter score. While not quite as substantial, it is also an improvement over season 1's strong 88% Tomatometer score. The current Silo season 2 score is based on 12 critical reviews and may change as more reviews are added and after its November 15 release on Apple TV+.
What This Means For Silo
Season 2 Is Even Better Than Season 1
Silo season 2's Tomatometer score indicates that the new season will be even stronger than its predecessor. Many of season 2's critical reviews praise Silo's world-building, which significantly expands the series' narrative scope. The reviews also emphasize that the ambitious story is grounded by the characters' human struggles and the actors' strong performances, even as the show balances Juliette's outside world storyline alongside the revolution brewing in season 1's silo.

Silo: The Syndrome Illness & Potential Cause Explained
Although Silo has not yet explicitly explained what The Syndrome is, it has dropped several clues to hint at its primary symptoms and potential cause.
If these elements resonate with general audiences as strongly as they have with critics, season 2's Popcornmeter score should be significantly higher than 66%. With Silo already widely considered to be one of Apple TV+'s best science-fiction shows, the season 1 Popcornmeter score is surprisingly low, especially when compared to the 88% Tomatometer score. There should be less of a divide in the season 2 critical and audience scores, not only because of the current Tomatometer score, but because those who disliked season 1 are unlikely to watch and rate season 2.
Our Take On Silo Season 2's Rotten Tomatoes Score
It Better Reflects The Show's High Quality
Ever since Silo season 1's game-changing episode, I have been eagerly awaiting season 2. Silo was one of the best new shows of 2023 and the season 1 finale provided the perfect setup for an even more compelling second season. It is promising to see how enthusiastically critics are responding to season 2 and that it is even better than season 1. Silo season 1 was much better than its Popcornmeter score indicated, but season 2's scores may be more reflective of the show's high quality.
