However, towards Silo season 1's ending, she connects the dots and realizes only she can save Juliette from her imminent fate. Therefore, she faces her fears and steps out of her workshop to visit Carla from the Supply. She tells Carla that she suspects the IT makes them use inferior quality tape on the suits and convinces her to send a stronger tape for insulating Juliette's suit.

Instead of antagonizing Juliette, he gives his people what they want to hear and calls her a hero. He says she willingly put her life on the line by allowing the IT to use a new kind of tape on her suit.
