The trio of Silver Surfer, Firelord, and Terrax have only assembled into one fighting force a handful of time throughout their history, having been chosen years, centuries, even millennia apart to serve Galactus. Each blessed with a fragment of their master's power cosmic, the official preview for Avengers #28 finds the three gathered by a larger cosmic force. United as the only possible beings capable of facing a new threat born in an entire galaxy-sized prison, apparently prepared to end that threat by any means necessary.

The preview is a welcome inspection of just what powers of the Surfer remain, now that he is the newest version of Starbrand. And if Terrax decides to embrace his typical, power-hungry nature, then the new cosmic warrior blasting Starbrand symbols into whole planets may be the least of their worries.
