Romantic Explorer is a new Aspiration released with The Sims 4 Lovestruck. It is a suitable means of focusing on a direct goal for your Sim’s life and finding a compatible partner. Completing the Aspiration requires obtaining Skill levels, specific interactions, and getting to know that special someone. Like all Aspirations, fully completing them also grants new unique Traits and Reward Points that can be used to make purchases.

If parts of the Romantic Explorer Aspiration are too tough or time-consuming, it is also possible to cheat Aspiration progress in Sims 4. This can also be used if part of the current progress glitches or conflicts with another aspect of your Sim’s daily routine. Cheats are especially handy if either partner is currently pursuing a degree in The Sims 4 Discover University or has drastically different fame levels from The Sims 4 Get Famous.

While the Romantic Aspiration can be given to any adult Sim, it is going to be easy or burdensome for different characters. This highly depends on Personality Traits, which help determine how a Sim reacts to all kinds of living situations. If you also have The Sims 4 High School Years, there are many Likes and Dislikes that can also tailor relationship interactions.

Traits to Avoid or Increase Difficulty

Paranoid	Emotional	The Sim will be fearful of others and often rants to scare people away.
Loner	Social	The Sim is often Embarrassed when interacting with others. They can also become Tense when first meeting someone.
Hot Headed	Social	This character is often angry and will quickly upset other Sims.
Jealous	Social	A Sim will become Tense when not around their romantic partner. However, they are extra Happy when the right romance is around.
Lazy	Lifestyle	Prefers to mostly nap and watch TV. Hates cleaning and exercising, both of which can ruin a date.

Consider using Create A Sim to make a spouse. This byes the early dating stages and allows easier romantic interactions. In the Relationship dropdown tabs, you can set their Romantic Dynamic to Steamy or Wholesome. If you own The Sims 4 Growing Together, you may also set their Family Dynamic to Close.

How To Complete The Romantic Explorer Aspiration

Focus On Dating & Expressing Love

Completing the Romantic Explorer Aspiration in The Sims 4 takes time. You must go on several dates and flirt with your romantic pursuits. You will also need to build up the new skill included in The Sims 4 Lovestruck: Romance. It is well worth it, as the final rewards are not useless like other Aspirations.

One of the Aspiration goals is to use the Romantic Blanket. YouTuber How To Sims demonstrated where it can be found and how to use it. Just make sure you have enough room in your own lot and privacy to not get caught WooHooing.

Spark of Love	Get To Know Your Date	Ask another Sim on a date and select the “Get To Know You Date” event goal.
	Achieve Level 2 Romance Skill	Use a mirror to Freshen Up, read a Romantic Skill Book, or be romantic until reaching level two.
	Use The Romantic Blanket Three Times	Buy a Romantic Blanket in Build/Buy Mode. Use it to Snuggle or WooHoo
	Share Food Two Times	You can buy food from the phone and share it with your lover. Cooking or buying from vendors does not count.
Expanding Boundaries	Discuss Romantic Boundaries	Interact with a Sim you are already in a relationship with. Pick either *“Ask About Romantic Boundaries”* or *“Reconsider Romantic Boundaries” in the Relationship options*.
	Have a Romantic Partner	Build Romance levels with someone and then ask them to be your committed partner. Automatically completes if already married.
	Achieve Level Four Romance Skill	Similar to the previous milestone. However, you will need expensive higher-level books to read to level four alone.
	Embrace Three Times	Select a Sim and use the Physical Intimacy option “Embrace.” This does not need to be with your current partner, but it may be considered cheating if done too much.
Amour Connoisseur	Get Gold on a Romantic Date	Set up a Goaled date event. Complete all the random objectives in the allotted time. These are typically social interactions or fun activities.
	Achieve Level Seven Romance Skill	This milestone is identical to the previous two milestones. Mirrors and flirting are still viable. To advance by reading, you will need the highest-level romance books.
	Perform 25 Romantic Gestures With Your Partner	Use romantic interactions specifically with your partner or spouse.
	WooHoo! Three Times in Different Locations	Travel around to various lots and engage in WooHoo. Private residences are the easiest to avoid bad moodlets. But, this can also be completed in public.

Setting up a Get To Know You Date Event in The Sims 4 Lovestruck

Completing the entire Romantic Explorer Aspiration rewards you with 3,350 Reward Points and the Seasoned Romantic Trait. The latter allows the Sims to have shorter Embarrassed mood durations for the rest of their life. The former is an excellent means of enhancing The Sims 4 gameplay via purchases in the Rewards Store. You can spend points as you earn them or pool them with other Aspirations for even better options.
