Although Christine and David’s relationship has been positive for her, it’s clear that she’s been having an easier time being more assertive in her relationship with David, which may not be the best.

Christine’s attitude in the most recent episodes of Sister Wives has made her seem like she’s taking control of her relationship with David, making decisions that impact their life together without consulting him.

The pair have started the process of flipping a house together in Moab, but it was revealed Christine purchased the property without David seeing it first. As a contractor, David’s opinion could’ve been helpful.

Sister Wives fans sharing that they think David is definitely more amenable than Kody Brown, Christine’s ex who she shared nearly 30 years of marriage with, makes sense. David is more amenable than Kody, and tends to give Christine more wiggle room in their decisions. Even so, David’s ability to appreciate that Christine is an adult who’s capable of making her own decisions and doing things that will benefit both of them is very different than being a complete pushover. Although David and Christine are working on their renovation together, it’s clear that the pair have had many discussions about what they’re going to do and how they’re going to do it. While Christine has ideas of what she’s supposed to be doing from the business side of things, bringing David into all parts of the renovation would’ve been better than doing something first, and then telling him about it. Although Christine likely had her reasons, the Sister Wives star needs to start considering David’s opinions and expertise in their project. The pair’s relationship will be better for it.
