Reddit u/LilPoobles, Kody feels that Robyn’s the more comfortable person of the two of them to speak to, meaning the kids are “afraid” of him. u/Tiny-Conflict2107 explained, “Robyn is the gatekeeper to him having relationships with his other non-Robyn children.”

They Look More Villainous Than The Other Browns

Although Robyn has long been held as one of the villains of Sister Wives, it’s clear that in recent seasons, she’s come across as far more of a villain than before. Kody’s only remaining wife has been a difficult part of the series for viewers, as she’s consistently advocated for the rest of the family to conform to her ways or it they’re doing something to wrong her. With Kody’s older children, it’s clear that Robyn doesn’t appreciate the way most of them speak to her, which makes it difficult for the kids to get through to Kody.

The Brown family patriarch feels that if his children aren’t being courteous in the way he deems appropriate toward Robyn, they’re being disrespectful to him.
