The legal battle between Kody and Christine got married in 1994 and had six kids together: Aspyn, Gwendlyn, Mykelti, Ysabel, Paedon and Truely. However, 27 years later, the couple ended their relationship. That downfall of that marriage, plus Janelle Brown and Meri Brown ditching him as well, meant that Kody only had one wife left--Robyn Brown--after living for decades in a plural marriage. Christine recently filed a lawsuit against Kody.

Sister Wives star Kody Brown now has legal representation following Christine Brown's recent lawsuit against him.

Christine's recent lawsuit over their daughter Truely revealed that the Sister Wives star wanted custody and child from her ex, Kody. Now Kody is hitting back, according to InTouch Weekly. He now has a lawyer representing him in court. During a court appearance on October 13, Kody's lawyer submitted an official reaction on behalf of the Brown patriarch. Unfortunately, InTouch didn't have access to the document itself, so the statement isn't public record right now, and it's not known if it will ever be available to the public.

Christine Wants To Protect Truely

Truely is at the center of Kody and Christine's legal battle. As part of the lawsuit, Christine filed a domestic relations injunction that would require a court order to travel with Truely for matters that are "nonroutine." Also, Kody's name is apparently not listed on their daughter's birth certificate, so Christine wants that to be corrected.

So far, it appears that the legal situation is routine and not anything out of the ordinary. While we don't know what statement Kody's lawyer filed on his behalf, there haven't been any signs yet that things will get contentious between the two exes regarding this particular matter. That could all change, of course. No matter what happens in the coming weeks regarding this lawsuit, hopefully, both Christine and Kody have Truely at the forefront of their minds because, after all, her well-being deserves priority instead of any petty differences the two adults might have with each other.
