Skype Meet Now Info

The interface for Meet Now isn't too different from what people would expect from Skype (or Zoom). Meet Now also has more modern bells and whistles such as screen sharing and the option to record the call. s can produce an invite link from the chat itself, as well as engage in text chat. Skype says the service will keep recorded chats and chat media, including text and images, for at least 30 days.

With that in mind, Skype's traditional group chat option, which requires inviting verified Skype s rather than producing a public link, still exists and will likely continue to be Skype's primary function. Still, Meet Now makes Skype more directly competitive with Zoom, and gives people turned off of the latter due to its negative press a viable, more secure alternative. Just be careful about who receives those invite links.
