A mod for hoarded in-game cheese in Skyrim.
Skyrim has never had a shortage of food for the Dragonborn to consume. From its wheels of cheese to sweet rolls, and the many nutritious recipes that can be crafted by players, it's safe to say food plays a large part in The Elder Scrolls series. After all, being an adventurer seems like a tiring job, with tasks such as climbing the seven-thousand steps to High Hrothgar alone being guaranteed to work up quite the appetite.
In Skyrim, many innkeepers have likely greeted players with the line: "The meals I serve aren't exactly what I'd call a Jarl's feast, but they'll fill your belly,” upon stepping into their establishments, but thanks to the Burger Jarl mod by yet another popular Skyrim mod, the Burger Jarl inn has a cross between a Burger King's branding, and a McDonald's-type menu, and can be found between Whiterun and Rorikstead, near to the Broken Fang Cave. Burger Jarl serves a variety of fast-food staples from the Big Mac-esque "Big Jarl" to the ever-classic Chicken Nuggets to truly fill the Dragonborn's belly. Much like a real fast-food restaurant, these food items can be added to Dovahkiin's inventory, taken away, and consumed at a later, more convenient time. The mod can be ed now via NexusMods.
This isn't the first delicious mod to deliver the best food to Skyrim, as Hrodeberht1 and Bella have made quite the habit of bringing fast food to the game with their previous 2021 mod, Necro Pizza. Necro Pizza introduced a Necromancer-run pizza delivery service to Tamriel. With this mod, the Necromancer uses his hordes of the undead for good, offering up six types of pizza that could be hand-delivered to the Dragonborn by a friendly delivery skeleton, regardless of where on the map they were located.
Over the years, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has managed to retain its popularity, as is evident by Bethesda's many rereleases of the 2011 classic across multiple console generations. With each release, the modding community continues to build upon and add to the world of Skyrim, and with food-related mods like the new Burger Jarl restaurant, it's safe to say that adventurers won't be going hungry any time soon.
