An impressive mod for Skyrim Creation Club mods that adjust or improve every aspect of the Bethesda Game Studios classic. While it is sadly impossible to enter the narcotics trade in the base version of Skyrim, a creative mod lets players become the one who knocks by taking over the Skooma trade like a fantasy version of Heisenberg.
The crime drama series Breaking Bad, which aired from 2008 to 2013, introduced the nefarious Walter White into the pop culture sphere. The iconic character begins the series as a simple high school chemistry teacher, but a cancer diagnosis drives him to become a ruthless and murderous drug lord. Walter White's gradual transformation into the criminal Heisenberg, masterfully portrayed by Bryan Cranston, has made the character an especially iconic television protagonist. Walter White has entered the Lands Between through a hilarious fan-made Elden Ring crossover with Breaking Bad, and now a Skyrim mod lets players bring the chaotic chemist to Tamriel too.
While the elicit substances that Walter White creates do not exist in the Elder Scrolls series, Bethesda's fantasy franchise does have its own fictional narcotic. The harmful and addictive drug Skooma, created by mixing the substances moon sugar and Nightshade, is closely associated with the catlike Khajit people from the province of Elseweyr. Within Elder Scrolls lore Skooma is an illegal and extremely hazardous, which early games reflect by having it damage players' intelligence and dexterity stats while improving speed and strength. While player characters are free to consume Skooma in several of the series' installments, players cannot craft Skooma using alchemy in Skyrim without the use of mods despite the game's focus on role-play mechanics.
Skyrim Mod Turns Players Into Dragonborn Heisenberg
An in-depth Skyrim mod called Skooming Skyrim, created by Nexus Mods BigBizkit, lets players become a Tamriel drug lord in the style of Walter White. The mod adds a new NPC to the game named Da'rhakaz who offers to teach s the way of the Skooma cooking business. The mod's questline leads players to uncover a Skooma alchemy lab, which can be upgraded over time to improve production. Players can fulfill their Breaking Bad fantasies and channel Heisenberg by cooking and distributing Skooma, but they must also dispose of certain NPCs to avoid getting caught by the guards. Customizing the Dragonborn protagonist to look like Walter White isn't mandatory, but it is recommended.
The Elder Scrolls drug Skooma is an interesting part of Tamriel's lore that players are never able to properly explore in a meaningful way. However, the Skooming Skyrim mod lets players channel their inner Breaking Bad by adding a full-blown Skooma cooking and distribution process. Like Skyrim's Dragonborn protagonist, Walter White begins as a lowly civilian but slowly rises through the ranks to become a legend. While distributing narcotics is vile in reality, a Skyrim mod that lets gamers brew Skooma is the perfect way to live out a Breaking Bad fantasy. Players just need to make sure that the dragons say their name.
