Sneaky Links: Dating After Dark season 1, is a true reality TV veteran with experience on a handful of shows in the last few years. Appearing most notably on Netflix's Too Hot To Handle, The Circle, and Perfect Match, Chloe has a ton of experience to pull from as a first-time TV host on Sneaky Links.
With so much experience under her belt, the reality TV dating show veteran is hopeful that the Sneaky Links: Dating After Dark cast learns a lot from her. The cast of the new Netflix reality TV series came into the show aware that they had situationships they weren't certain about, but after being met with their sneaky links on the show, they'll have to make a tough decision about their future. As a host, Chloe and her relationship expert co-host Spicy Mari will be able to advise and hear out the participants in some intense moments. With a lot going down, Chloe and the cast have a lot to unpack throughout the season. 20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Screen Rant: Chloe, congratulations on hosting Sneaky Links: Dating After Dark! What can you share with us about the show?
Chloe Veitch: I mean, to be honest with you, I'm just going to explain it like I would to a family member or a friend. There's no dating shows out there that are like Sneaky Links. I feel like it's such a fresh take on what happens in the real world on camera, and I'm so glad that I'm the one hosting it because I have had multiple sneaky links throughout my time...hence why I got picked to do Too Hot To Handle. [laughs] They branded me as one of the horniest women in the world.
Sneaky Links is basically a show where we get a bunch of people in a motel and we surprise them [with their sneaky link] so they're forced to look in the mirror because of some of the decisions that they make in their love life. [They have to address] the patterns that they have in their dating life, and we force them to look into that. We force them to really dig deep within. I'm just so excited for people to see it because it's raunchy, it's sexy, it's sneaky, and it brings the fire. I've never seen anything like it.
Screen Rant: As a concept, bringing together people who have those pre-existing relationships is always going to bring out way more drama. You've had experience with both walking into a group of strangers and walking into people you know on reality TV. What was more difficult?
Chloe: I feel like because of the genuine connections that you've had previously, whether they turn bad or good, you're always going to be more fearful walking into a place where you know your ex is going to be there, or someone that you've hooked up with, or even your sneaky link. I went on Ex On The Beach and that was one of the most daunting shows I have ever done. It was crazy because you've already had the experience [with that person]. The experience has happened already, so you are forced to confront it. You can't go anywhere.
It's just like Sneaky Links - you are stuck in this motel, the sneaky link motel, and you have to talk about real problems. You have to talk about real life, and you have to navigate through it...plus, there's cameras.
Screen Rant: In of watching the Sneaky Links cast, did you feel any expectations as a host? Did they live up to your expectations, watching everything play out?
Chloe: Oh yeah, they definitely lived up to my expectations. This is my first time hosting a show, and because I've been talent for so long, six years now, I always have like an idea of, when I go on to a show, all I have to do is just be myself. With the hosting, it's like, okay, I have to have some level of professionalism. I've been talent, but I can relate to them. So, I was in a great position to be able to sit with them, guide them, and help them. I was able to give them advice and be relatable, because it's like, you listen to your older sister because she's been through all of that stuff in a relationship before. If you listen to someone that hasn't really been through it, it's like, "oh, I'm not going to respect your advice."
They met my expectations and more. They're a very sexy cast. To be honest with you, if I wasn't the host, I would love to have actually gone on the show [laughs].
Screen Rant: Incredible – in of drama, what can we expect from Sneaky Links?
Chloe: To be honest with you, your expectations of the drama will definitely be met, but it's in such a classy, tasteful way. It's not fights. It's just real life stuff that you would go through if you were to see your sneaky link. Who is the issue? Who's the problem? Who needs to dive deep? Are they in the way of me finding the one? Or are they the one? That's the question.
Screen Rant: Speaking of your co-host, Spicy Mari, how was it to work with a relationship expert in that kind of setting? Did she really offer a lot more to the experience for the cast?
Chloe: Oh, she did. 100%. I mean, as soon as I walked in there, I was like, "Hi guys, I love you all. I'm going to guide you through this experience - but don't trust my dating advice. I've actually bought on someone that it's her job." [laughs] I'm a dating veteran, but I fail quite a bit. So, having Spicy Mari there to lead me and guide me and the talent to a different perspective of what we would see as just a little blip in a relationship, she could dive deep into that like an onion.
And I think it's such a great show in of the drama, the spice, the sexiness, because you also have the educational aspects to the experience. When you watch this show, the hook is that they're sneaky links, but everyone can truly learn something from this show. That's exactly what we set out to do, and that's exactly what we accomplished. I couldn't be happier.
Screen Rant: Last question for you - if you could describe the show in three words, what would they be?
Chloe: I'd say sexy...relatable. I mean, I can't exactly say sneaky because the show is called Sneaky Links [laughs] but let's go with...binge-worthy? Binge-worthy.
