One of the most brutal monster hunters in the history of comics is back as Erica Slaughter returns for an all new chapter of Something Is Killing The Children. Following the end of the first run of the series, along with the release of the history-revealing House of Slaughter, fans know Erica better than they ever have. That knowledge will be integral in understanding her storyline in Something Is Killing The Children

The all-new story arc of Something Is Killing The Children will begin with issue #21, which will be helmed by an all-star creative team. This next chapter in the Eisner Award-nominated horror series will be written by GLAAD Award-winning author James Tynion IV, who is best known for The Department of Truth and The Nice House on the Lake. The artwork will be done by Razorblades’  Werther Dell’Edera with House of Slaughter’s Miquel Muerto as colorist and We Only Find Them When They’re Dead’s AndWorld Design as letterer. The main cover art will be done by series artist Werther Dell’Edera with variant cover art by Catwoman’s Jenny Frison, Klaus’ Dan Mora, Moon Knight’s Gabriele Dell’Otto, and Seven Secrets’ Vincenzo Riccardi.

In a preview released by broken ties with the House of Slaughter, so those potentially deadly consequences are looming over her as well. The Order of St. George does not forgive or forget any transgressions made against the family, and readers of House of Slaughter know just how ruthless the Order can be.

While Erica Slaughter is on the hunt for this mysterious new monster, she is being hunted herself. As described in the preview release, there is a mysterious figure on Erica’s trail who may or may not be tied to the House of Slaughter. If this person is with the Order of St. George, then the monster Erica is tracking down will be the least of her worries as the story moves forward.
