A seven-season show about biker outlaws is bound to have a wide range of unique and intriguing antagonists. From law enforcement officials of every level to every type of criminal organization imaginable, despicable people imaginable.
Here's twelve of the biggest threats Jax and crew ever faced, and who you will relate to most based on your Zodiac sign.
Spoilers ahead.
Aries: Ethen Zobelle
Not exactly what comes to mind when you imagine the head of a white nationalist group, this Hungarian crime boss first forms an uneasy alliance with the Sons before turning into a rat for the FBI. His antagonistic force is not one to be reckoned with, as his enthusiasm and motivation for his political beliefs make him nearly unstoppable. Despite Zobelle's despicable racial ideology, his strong leadership and pragmatism in the face of adversity are traits ired by anyone under the Aries sign. As much as the traits can be when they're coming from an ethnic nationalist.
Taurus: David Hale
A persistent thorn in the Sons' side throughout the first three seasons, the consistently driven and incorruptible Deputy Chief of Charming Police spends his time dedicated to ending the club's illegal operations. He's a sheer force of good, staunchly working for law and order in Charming.
While noble, this makes him a direct antagonist to SAMCRO and their criminal associates. His nobility and idealistic persistence against crime is something any Taurus can relate to.
Gemini: August Marks
The intellectual successor to former boss August Marks is by and far the most intelligent foe SAMCRO has ever gone up against. Commanding a massive criminal enterprise that threatens to completely destroy the Sons and everything they've built. August Marks always puts himself several steps ahead of his enemies, just as any Gemini would.
Cancer: Galen O'Shay
There's a reason they call the True IRA leader the Butcher of Belfast. He's intuitive, calculating, and his mere presence demands respect. And if that presence is disrespected, you have Galen and his gang to answer to.
Love him or hate him, he's very protective over his organization and his legacy, making sure his will is enforced, no matter how violent things get. Galen O'Shay, tried and true Cancer.
Leo: Henry Lin
He's observant, he's creative in his business dealings, but he can find himself pompous and self-righteous. The leader of the Lin Triad, a criminal enterprise with a rocky relationship with the Sons, he isn't afraid to change his mind about things and make creative deals if the situation calls for it. Like any Leo, Henry is a creative and open-minded individual.
Virgo: Jimmy O'Phelan
Street boss and the Sons' main with the True IRA, Jimmy O'Phelan is first introduced as a somewhat shaky ally to the club, but later begins turning against them when the IRA's interests come in conflict with the biker gang.
Particularly antagonistic towards Chibs, Jimmy is analytical and critical of those around him, pushing his organization to be the best they can be in their idealistic mission. Any Virgo can relate to his demeanor.
Libra: Damon Pope
Damon Pope is an eerily calm individual, who carries himself in a manner that stands out in comparison to the many hot-headed criminals he deals with regularly. Commanding his criminal organization with an understated and diplomatic manner, Damon Pope is a man who knows his strengths over his enemies. He is a serious threat to the Sons and knows exactly how to use his power. These traits make him an idol for any particularly villainous Libras.
Scorpio: A.J. Weston
While Sons of Anarchy was filled with horrific, despicable people, A.J. Weston is definitely a stand-out. Quiet, strong, and highly observant, this Aryan Brotherhood enforcer is a force to be reckoned with for SAMCRO.
This dead-eyed neo-nazi's presence is commanding, and he uses this to his advantage on several occasions. But he's not without his softer side, as his last words are to Jax, asking him to make sure A.J.'s son does not find his body. Tough, but with a soft interior, A.J. is a clear Scorpio.
Saggitarius: Hector Salazar
Hector only appeared in nine episodes of Sons of Anarchy, but he left a visible impression by the time of his demise. His merciless personality is challenged in a brief arc that makes him desperate and fills him with rage.
But despite these challenges he faces, he remains driven, never quitting his attempts to survive the war taking over his life. It's almost a shame this Saggitarius didn't.
Capricorn: Agent June Stahl
The fiercely brilliant and unnervingly manipulative federal agent is a Capricorn if we've ever seen one. She works vigorously to put a wrench into all of SAMCRO's plans, maneuvering and orchestrating the of the biker gang like pawns to ruin their criminal enterprise. Unapologetically malicious in her dealings, she proves herself to be a serious threat in ways that any Capricorn can ire.
