All three were relative critical successes, receiving Oscar nominations for Best Animated Feature Film, with Soul winning the award.
Pixar announces that these three once Disney+ exclusives will be hitting theaters in 2024.

Why This Theatrical Release Is a Good Strategy for Disney
This release strategy represents a first for Pixar ever since Disney+ was launched. Typically, films that receive exclusive Disney+ do not go on to receive a theatrical release, especially years after they were initially debuted. In the cases of Luca, Turning Red, and , the decision to release the films only on Disney+ was extremely controversial, as Pixar films have typically been a staple of family viewing fare in theaters.
Now, audiences will get the chance to experience the magic of these three films on the big screen for the first time. While many audiences may have already seen Luca, Soul, and Turning Red during their Disney+ debuts, the theatrical release will give all three films a chance to reach new audiences or for existing viewers to get a rewatch. Given the critical acclaim of these films – especially in the case of Soul – it is reasonable to expect that the Pixar films may find success when released theatrically.

Inside Out 2's New Storyline Can Succeed Where Pixar's $20 Million Flop Failed
Inside Out 2 explores themes similar to a previous Pixar movie that flopped, but its new storyline could succeed where the other failed.
This strategy will not only right past wrongs for Pixar, whose viewers may have been upset that they could not see these films in theaters, but it will give Disney a chance to make box office revenue while the release of the next Pixar film awaits. Pixar’s highly-anticipated Inside Out 2 is not being released until June 14, 2024, leaving months to go before a new theatrical release. In this intermittent time, Disney is capitalizing on the slow winter months to hopefully reinvigorate viewers’ enthusiasm towards Pixar films once more.
