An amazing cosplay of Spider-Man and Batman is stirring up old memroies of the duo's old adventures. The Dark Knight and the Webhead come together in a killer cosplay that serves as a reminder of the good old days.

Peter Parker and Bruce Wayne are possibly the most well-known heroes of their respective universes. Not only do they headline a number of books, but they've also launched major multimedia franchises for Batman and Spider-Man met, which occurred in the 1995 crossover special Spider-Man and Batman: Disordered Minds that saw them take on their nemeses Joker and Carnage. A follow-up crossover happened just two years later with Batman & Spider-Man: New Age Dawning. It's been decades since the heroes interacted, but their brief partnership was a thrilling sight for comic book fans to behold.

Spider-Man and Batman Cosplay Reunites Two Comic Book Titans

The two iconic heroes might be separated in the comic book medium, but they're back together thanks to two fantastic cosplayers. On Instagram, @zemoamerica posted a picture of himself and @superimiles dressed up as Spider-Man and Batman respectively at MCM London Comic Con. @zemoamerica crouches down in a traditional pose for the wall-crawler, dressed in the hero's iconic red and blue outfit. @superimiles stands confidently behind, dressed in a very Michael Keaton-esque Batman costume from the 1989 film. The two heroes look downwards as if scanning the area for crime that only Marvel's web-slinger and DC's Caped Crusader can handle. The cosplay was received quite well, racking up over 700 likes for the duo's amazing display.

It's always fun to see two heroes from different universes team up with one another. The two crossovers were real treats for fans of both characters and had a number of hilarious interactions, such as Spider-Man putting his foot in his mouth while talking to Batman. Unfortunately, DC and Marvel haven't had an official crossover in years, despite both companies throwing out the occasional tease. But while fans continue to hold out hope for the Big Two to bring their stars together again, @zemoamerica and @superimiles give the people what they want in a truly impressive cosplay.

It's sad that Peter and Bruce haven't shared an adventure since the '90s, as both heroes have grown considerably since then. But just because the publishers won't bring their characters together doesn't mean cosplayers can't fill the void. @superimiles and @zemoamerica's cosplay is spot on and showcases the best sides of Batman and Spider-Man. It presents them as two heroes who, in spite of their many differences, are ready to put them aside in order to defend the world from evil. While the world waits to see Spider-Man and Batman reunited in a proper story, this cosplay session does both of the legends justice.
