Tom Holland reveals Spider-Man: Homecoming. While there are many great elements to the first Spider-Man movie set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the way it tied the villain to Peter Parker's story was one of the best. Vulture was revealed to be the father of Peter's crush and then quickly pieced together Spider-Man's true identity, making their battle all the more fascinating.

When Screen Rant visited the set of Spider-Man: Far From Home last year, we got a chance to speak to the cast and crew about the film, including Tom Holland. During the interview with the main star, Holland was asked if there were any scenes in the sequel that were comparable to the car scene with Vulture, something that was high in suspense but didn't involve super powers. Holland revealed that such a scene is in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and that it may be even more shocking.

There’s a scene in this film where audiences will feel like they were punched in the face. Even filming it, I walking out and then watching it again on the monitors and asking Jon [Watts], ‘Are you sure that's okay?’ And he's like, ‘No, it's not. People are going to hate this scene.’ But it really… God, it’s pretty crazy. And it's very similar in the way that it's very tense, and it sort of rips the rug from underneath your feet. It's pretty awesome.

Mysterio and Spider Man in Far From Home

The scene between Peter and Vulture in the car is one of Spider-Man: Homecoming's best scenes, thanks to the tension it builds and the implications it has for the rest of the film, and Holland is really hyping up the similar scene that's in the sequel here. The surprise is part of it, while his recounting of a conversation with director Jon Watts after filming the scene points to how audiences may respond strongly when seeing it.

Predicting what the scene could be may be a difficult task, but one obvious possibility for such a scene could be when Peter learns that lying about the multiverse, the death of a major character, and so much more being possible. If the scene is as great as Holland is making it out to be, then hopefully it manages to remain unseen until Spider-Man: Far From Home is in theaters.
