Kingdom Hearts franchise, and it's an incredible look for the web-slinger.

Fans were treated to this amazing crossover cosplay by Spider-Man's iconic appearance and Sora's fantastic Kingdom Hearts 3 look. Not only that, but Spider-Man is also sporting the classic Kingdom Key keyblade to tie the outfit together.

There are tons of fun parts to this cosplay. Not only is this a great appearance for Spider-Man, but it's just fun to see Spider-Man with the Keyblade in general. But the greatest part of this cosplay is the fact it could actually happen, given Kingdom Hearts' relationship with Disney. While this might just be a fan cosplay now, soon it might be a real official part of Kingdom Hearts.

Spider-Man Officially Crosses Over with the Kingdom Hearts Universe

In the World of Cosplay, At Least

Kingdom Hearts is one of the strangest video game franchises out there. Born from a deal between Square Enix and Disney, Kingdom Hearts is a mashup of original characters, Final Fantasy characters, and Disney characters. It's not unusual to see bizarre situations, like Sephiroth fighting Donald Duck and Goofy. But this absurdity is also what lends the series its undeniable charm and what makes it so incredibly fun. As Disney grows ever larger and consumes company after company, the company only gains more characters that could potentially feature in Kingdom Hearts.

Sora might very well end up fighting Darth Vader or swinging through New York with Spider-Man.

One of the things that has fans most excited about Kingdom Hearts 4 is that Disney acquired Marvel before the game started development. Kingdom Hearts is famous for having a plethora of Disney worlds that Sora, Donald, and Goofy can visit. They've been to Tarzan's world, Agrabah, Neverland, Wonderland, and dozens of others. But with the recent additions of Star Wars and Marvel to Disney's roster, Sora might very well end up fighting Darth Vader or swinging through New York with Spider-Man.

A Marvel Crossover Could Do So Much with Kingdom Hearts

Spider-Man Would Get Along Great with Sora

There's simply so much that could be done with Kingdom Hearts and Spider-Man crossing over. What if the Heartless with the Symbiotes? It would be incredible to witness as a fan of both franchises. Not only that, but Spider-Man's entire belief system revolving around responsibility would be something that Sora could learn a lot from. While it's unclear if Spider-Man will appear in Kingdom Hearts 4 or if any Marvel property will, for now, fans can get a glimpse into that possible future thanks to this amazing cosplay.

Spider-Man is the name given to several individuals who have employed a spider-moniker throughout Marvel Comics. Typically gaining their powers through a bite from a radioactive spider, the different Spider-Man heroes employ super-strength, agility, and intellect while utilizing webbing to swing and tangle up their foes. The most notable of these Spider-Men is Peter Parker, who remains one of the most popular superheroes throughout the world.
