Tom Holland has shared an exciting update about his future as Holland's Spider-Man 4 just as exciting.
While story details have yet to be revealed, the Holland revealed that he has read Spider-Man 4's script alongside MJ actress Zendaya, and the stars liked what they saw. The actor has also shared some interesting comments about his Peter Parker future beyond the film, and Holland's latest MCU updates make me feel like Peter Parker's best is yet to come.
Tom Holland Wants To Keep Playing Spider-Man For “Many More Movies”
The Actor Leads The MCU Heroes At The Box Office
At this moment, Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 is his only confirmed MCU project. However, the actor is most likely going to not only appear in 2026's Avengers: Doomsday and 2027's Avengers: Secret Wars, but also play a major role against Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom. I have been wondering what Holland's future as Spider-Man will look like beyond the three announced MCU movies. Thankfully, it seems like my doubts have been answered, as Holland revealed to Rich Roll that he does not view Spider-Man 4 as his last time as Peter Parker — far from that.
During the interview, Holland was asked about Marvel and Sony's possible desire to make more Spider-Man movies with him, which the actor said is true. Then, the MCU's Spider-Man shared a positive update about his future as the Marvel hero, saying, "I want to make another one. I want to make many more." Holland would then go on to say that he would lead future Spider-Man films if they were made for the right reasons. As he has been involved with the creative process of Spider-Man 4 from the start, I trust that Holland will help steer Spider-Man for years.
I’m Excited About Possibly Seeing Two Spider-Men In The MCU’s Future
The MCU Has Shown That Multiple Spider-Men Is A Good Idea
Holland's comments about continuing to play Peter Parker for a long time make me excited about the prospect of seeing him alongside the MCU's version of Miles Morales one day. The actor has commented a few times about Miles' possible MCU debut. In the past, Holland made it seem like he was going to step off for a new actor as Miles to take over as the MCU's Spider-Man. Back in 2022, Holland said that if he were 30 years old and still playing Spidey, not having ed the baton to Miles or a Spider-Woman, he would have failed.

10 Best Peter Parker Replacements For Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Based On His MCU Deadline
Tom Holland has revealed what could be his Spider-Man deadline, and that might lead to other heroes taking over for Peter Parker in the MCU soon.
However, in his new interview with Rich Roll, Holland made my dreams of Miles and Peter interacting in the MCU easier to accomplish. The actor revealed that he wants Miles to be in the MCU, and he would love to help a younger actor like how Robert Downey Jr. helped him when Holland ed the franchise. Spider-Man: No Way Home showed how having multiple Spider-Men sharing the screen is a great idea. While Maguire and Garfield can return in the Multiverse Saga, Miles Morales' live-action debut is the best way to keep that element going after Avengers: Secret Wars.
Tom Holland Staying For More Spider-Man Movies Allows Me To Finally Get All The Peter Parker Stories I’ve Wanted
The MCU Can Make An Epic Spider-Man Saga
Besides seeing Peter and Miles interact for years in the MCU, Holland's desire to make many more Spider-Man movies could allow my dreams of a huge Peter Parker saga in live-action to become a reality. Like Star Wars' Skywalker Saga, I always thought that Spider-Man could thrive with an epic 9-movie franchise. Three trilogies that follow Peter Parker at different stages of his life. With the MCU's Spider-Man 4 starting production next year, we are already underway on what could be the start of a new trilogy for the wall-crawler, and based on Holland's comments, another one is possible.

Holland's first MCU trilogy started with Peter in high school and ended with him graduating. I want to see Spider-Man 4 to the MCU's Spider-Man 6 follow the hero in college, meeting characters like Gwen Stacy, Black Cat, Harry Osborn, and more. Then, Holland's final Spider-Man trilogy could follow Peter Parker's adult life, with the character married and starting a family in the vein of the new Ultimate Spider-Man comics. This way, we could get to watch Peter mature in the way that Marvel Comics often avoids while Miles is in high school with a classic Spider-Man setup.
