With the shared success of Holland's Spider-Man franchise and Hardy's Venom, many fans have been left wondering if or when the two will have a crossover. In a new interview with Fandango, Amy Pascal - who produces both franchises - was asked what the chances are that the two Spider-Man characters will meet. She initially said, "Everybody would love to see that. You never know. Someday... it might happen." When pressed about the team-up again, Pascal shared her plans to keep Holland busy, regardless of a Venom crossover. She added:

"We have big plans for Tom Holland to be a part of everything... Every movie we ever do! [Laughs] He needs to be in every movie that I ever work on!"

The possibility of Spider-Man and Venom crossing over is something that has been theorized for a while now. Rumors initially circulated that Holland shot a cameo as Peter Parker for Venom, but that never materialized on the screen. Everyone involved with the franchises has maintained a stance that a team-up between the two could happen, with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige just recently stating how he believes it is likely.

If Holland and Hardy do meet on screen as Spider-Man and Venom, then it will be fascinating to see under what circumstances it is done. Theoretically, Venom factor into the current Spider-Man story and the MCU's future. At this point, though, there is no telling when such a crossover will happen, or if it will. So, don't expect to see Hardy's Venom pop up in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
