Following the release of Miles at different ages, as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has a long enough time jump to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse that Jake Johnson's Peter B. Parker is already a father to the young Mayday. Moore expressed interest in playing Miles in live-action, but at 28, was deemed too old by some fans.

On Twitter, Moore has clapped back at those saying he should not play Miles Morales in live-action.

The actor poked fun at those against him playing the live-action Miles Morales. Throughout Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse's press tour, Moore has made his wish to play Miles in live-action clear, and there are a few ways for that to happen.

When And Where Shameik Moore Could Play Miles Morales In Live-Action

Miles Morales Running From The Spider-Society In Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse introduced live-action elements to the animated film franchise, such as the appearance of Venom's Mrs. Chen and Donald Glover as a multiverse version of the Prowler, presumably from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Given that next year's trilogy finale is called Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, it would be fitting for the film to take an even bigger dive into live-action content.

Moore could play Miles in live-action for a brief sequence in the film, much like Glover in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. That would be the perfect way for the actor to play Miles in live-action, as the MCU will likely want to cast its own version of the hero with a younger actor in the role whenever Miles debuts. Holland's Spider-Man is now older, having finished school, which means that the spot for a younger MCU Spider-Man is now open for Miles. Alternately, it is possible that Moore could play Miles in the MCU if Marvel chooses to make the character older, perhaps as a classmate of Peter's at college.

There is also another way for Moore to play the character in live-action, the teased Miles Morales Spider-Man movie that appears to be in the works at Sony. That would be an easier path for Moore to play Miles than in the MCU, as a standalone solo movie for the hero in Sony's Spider-Man Universe allows for the studio to choose a different version of Miles, closer to Moore's age if needed. It would not necessarily need to be the same Miles as in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, allowing Moore to play another version of the hero.
