While Avengers: Endgame thanks to the time heist.
There are several Spider-Man: Far From Home setting up an entirely different story.
Coming from his bout with Mysterio, there was an assumption that Spider-Man 3 will be about Peter Parker dealing with being outed as Spider-Man made worse by being framed for the death of Quentin Beck. That doesn't seem to be the primary arc for the movie anymore with recent casting reports point to the film being Marvel Studios' attempt at a live-action Spider-Verse with a possible appearance from Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and other characters from their respective Spider-Man franchises. While Spider-Man 3 may seem like an odd choice to be a pivotal part of MCU's multiverse, it's actually a smart choice. In fact, it's a much better film to fully explore the concept than Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as it allows Marvel Studios to show how interdimensional crossovers exactly work.
What was once deemed to be a burden on MCU's Spider-Man - as Tom Holland has been often compared to his predecessors - is now the franchise's most useful element when it comes to establishing its multiverse. Since both Maguire and Garfield have had their respective Spider-Man franchises fleshed out to a degree, Marvel Studios can simply utilize them as the other dimensions separate from the primary MCU setting. Since those worlds have been tackled in other films before, it saves Marvel Studios the time to set-up these realities; the public is also already invested in these other characters assuming that they have watched those movies. An additional perk for bringing Maguire and Garfield back in any capacity in the Marvel world is that it drives up the nostalgia factor in Spider-Man 3, giving those who might not be exactly fans of Holland's take on the character check out the film just to see the other actors who have portrayed the iconic superhero. Once Marvel Studios incorporates the mutants in the MCU, the same can be done with Fox's X-Men and Fantastic Four films. This way, their existence can be acknowledged without the MCU getting bogged down by its convoluted continuity.
This doesn't mean that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness won't play an important part in Marvel Studios' multiverse endeavors. The sorcerer being involved in Peter Parker's next standalone film in itself is an indication that he's going to be an important player in this overall narrative, couple that with his film's connection to Loki and WandaVision and there's a good chance that the Raimi film will be a culminating point for these projects. It's just that Spider-Man 3 has a concrete way of showing how the multiverse works.
