Gwyneth Paltrow completely forgets she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming as Pepper Potts.

The movie is Tom Holland's first solo MCU outing as Peter Parker, after making his debut in Captain America: Civil War, and sees him operating as a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man as he dreams of ing the Avengers. After being recruited by Tony Stark in Civil War, Peter looks up to him as a mentor and spends much of the film trying to prove himself, though he mostly creates headaches for Happy. But once he's defeated the Vulture (Michael Keaton), Spider-Man ing the Avengers. However, it seems Paltrow forgot entirely that she was in the movie.

In the first episode of Favreau's new culinary TV show for Netflix, The Chef Show, which he created alongside celebrity chef Roy Choi, the actor and Paltrow discuss their work in the MCU together. Favreau says he started filming The Chef Show when he was in Atlanta, Georgia for Spider-Man: Homecoming. When Favreau asks Paltrow if she re they were in Spider-Man together, she responds, "We weren't in Spider-Man." Choi chimes in to clarify they're talking about Spider-Man: Homecoming, but she goes on to insist she was in the Avengers movies. It's not until Favreau details the scene she filmed that Paltrow re, and asks "That was Spider-Man?" Watch the clip below.

Next, Favreau is set to appear in Spider-Man: Far From Home this summer, but it's unlikely Paltrow will return. Both MCU actors reprised their respective roles in this spring's Avengers: Endgame, in which their characters have to deal with the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailers.

However, while it makes sense for Morgan Stark, Tony and Pepper's daughter, but with Peter in Europe for most of the movie, that seems unlikely as well. For now, fans will have to relish in Favreau and Paltrow talking about their time on Spider-Man: Homecoming and hopefully get a kick out of seeing Paltrow completely forget filming her cameo for the movie.
