A set video of Andrew Garfield in costume as Spider-Man resurfaces after his recent denial of being in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Just a couple of weeks ago, the much-anticipated first trailer for the threequel was leaked online shortly before its official release. Although the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer featured the return of Alfred Molina's Doc Ock, and teased other Marvel villains, some were disappointed it didn't confirm the long-rumored appearances of Garfield and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man characters.

Following months of clamor from fans, Spider-Man: No Way Home's trailer was released, and surprisingly, it gives a pretty clear picture of the movie's premise, with the story picking up immediately after the events of Spider-Man 2.

With all that established, the long-rumored involvement of Garfield in the project is now clearly plausible. Marvel Studios, Sony, and the actor have been coy when asked about the matter, but there might be concrete proof that he's indeed in Spider-Man: No Way Home. A set video of Garfield in his full Spider-Man costume has resurfaced (via @Juanxs2607/Twitter) after first making the rounds in late August. The clip doesn't have any audio, but it seems like it was taken during a break in filming. Garfield is talking to someone, but it's unclear who as they're out of the frame.

It's important to that in this day and age of deep-fakes and high-tech computer graphics, it would be best to take this video with a healthy dose of salt. It's also unclear who originally took the video and, as a result, it's impossible to determine exactly when and where it was taken. Since rumors started that Spider-Man: No Way Home will be a multiverse story, countless fan creations imagining Garfield's return to the Marvel world have popped up online. It's an indication of people's excitement over the possibility. This new clip may be just one of those. Although it's worth noting that Jamie Foxx's Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was subtly teased in the latest trailer, and if he could show up, then chances are that his iteration of Spider-Man can also do that.

Alongside Garfield, Maguire is also rumored to be in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Unlike his successor, however, the original web-slinging hero actor from the Sam Raimi trilogy hasn't been haunted by questions regarding his speculated appearance. Garfield, on the other hand, has been quizzed multiple times. In his latest interview, he itted that no matter how much he denies it, he's unable to convince fans that he's not really in the MCU flick.
