Progression in you're constantly looting as you travel through the irradiated Zone, picking up new items from fellow Stalkers' caches, friendly factions' shops, and vanquished enemies' inventories.

And while most of the weapons you find can easily be found all throughout the world, you'll occasionally come across a totally unique weapon, the likes of which can't be found anywhere else. These are typically few and far between, mostly sourced from important NPCs, pivotal quests, or difficult challenges. In case you're struggling to find one or more of them, here's every unique weapon you can find in STALKER 2.

How To Get Every Unique Weapon In STALKER 2

Drowned

Drowned is a decent assault rifle you can find fairly early on in STALKER 2, shortly after entering the Garbage region and reaching the Slag Heap. You probably won't find it on your own, though; near a trench at the entrance to the Slag Heap, you'll find an NPC named Boo.

You don't need to talk to Boo to find his rifle, so even if you've progressed the main quest too far to talk to him, you can still pick it up.

Boo explains that he dropped his rifle into the trench, but is too scared to go get it. Wade through the water a bit to find it leaning against a broken slab of concrete. You can either return it to him for nothing but his thanks, or keep it for yourself.

Unknown Stalker's AR416

The Unknown Stalker's AR416 as it appears in the inventory screen in STALKER 2.

You can obtain the AR416 early on in STALKER 2 by choosing a certain course of action in the side quest "The Poppy Field." During this one, an NPC named Mityay in Zalissya will ask you to travel to his family home and retrieve an Orthodox religious icon.

You'll need to chug multiple Energy Drinks to get through the Poppy Field safely.

However, if you decide to give the icon to Pomor (an NPC you meet in the Poppy Field), he'll reward you with the Unknown Stalker's AR416. Again, this weapon is probably better than any other AR you've found thus far, but it'll be outclassed by other weapons available to you soon.

Valik Lummox's AKM-74S

A dialogue scene with Warlock in STALKER 2.

And speaking of unique weapons you can obtain from completing side quests, there's also Valik Lummox's AKM-74S. This is an excellent early-game weapon, and comes with an extended mag and scope. You'll find it automatically during the side quest "Warlock's Debtor," which you can pick up by talking to the eponymous NPC in Zalissya.

Shah's Mate

The location of Shah's Stash on the STALKER 2 map.

Shah's Mate is an SMG with a drum magazine, the first of many weapons secreted away in stashes. You'll find it at the location on the map above, northwest of the Slag Heap settlement. You'll need to enter a small tunnel at this location in order to pick it up, but it'll remain blocked off unless you complete the quest "No Honor Among Thieves" without killing Docent.

Spitter

Accepting "A Big Score" in a dialogue scene with Zachar in Stalker 2.

You'll find the Spitter SMG during "A Big Score," a side quest you'll pick up when you meet Zakhar during your visit to the Slag Heap. At one point in this mission, you'll be attacked by an NPC named Leva Borzoi. Kill and loot him to find the Spitter, which is accessorized with a grip, muzzle, and stock from the moment you find it.

Combatant

Colonel Korshunov holding a rifle in STALKER 2.

During the main quest "Back to the Slag Heap," Korshunov will ask you to show him the unusual PDA. If you agree to share it with him, he'll give you the Combatant, a unique assault rifle with better accuracy and range than stock AM-74S rifles.

Lynx

Strider holding a bullet on a chain in a screenshot from STALKER 2.

You'll receive the Lynx automatically once you complete the main mission "Hot on the Trail." You literally can't miss it. This is an excellent sniper rifle with better-than-average accuracy and damage.

Special

The location of the Pig Farm on STALKER 2's map.

Special is the signature weapon of Stets Leech, an NPC found in the mill near the Pig Farm north of the Rookie Village in Cordon. Players can either kill him directly to take it immediately, or heal him with a Medkit and return later to find him dead. The Special is a particularly light AR with a reflex sight for greater accuracy, and a silencer for better stealth.

SOFMOD

The Railway Maintenance Facility as it appears on STALKER 2's map.

The SOFMOD can be found in the southeasternmost building of the Railway Maintenance Facility, located in the Zaton region. (See the green arrow in the screenshot above.) It's just sitting on top of a crate in a back room, alongside some bandages, Medkits, and assorted other supplies. The SOFMOD is an excellent all-rounder with a built-in foregrip, sight, extended barrel, and silencer.

Predator

The Predator shotgun is exclusive to players who have preordered STALKER 2. It can be found in a small blue cache protruding from the floor of a shack in Izumrudne. This is a high-damage shotgun with a slightly higher rate of fire than others of its type.

Clusterf**k

The location of Port Cranes on the STALKER 2 map.

This is a unique AR416 that's been converted into a sniper with a long-range scope. It can be found during the side quest "The Three Captains," picked up from Sonya in Skadovsk, as long as you follow the optional objective to visit the Sniper's Nest.

Decider

The Decider sitting on top of a crate in STALKER 2.

You'll automatically find the Decider AR during the side quest "Uninvited Guests." You can start this quest by speaking to Myrtryk in the Cement Forest. Just follow the mission markers to pick it up.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is an ambitious and engrossing open-world immersive sim, putting you in the Zone, an unnerving and unfathomable place.

The Decider comes with a nice little sight. It's also badly broken when you find it, so you'll have to spend a few coupons on fixing it up.

Deadeye

Deadeye is a Desert Eagle pistol rewarded automatically for completing the main mission "Ad Astra Per Aspera." It comes with an iron sight.

Grom S-15

The Grom-S15 lying alongside a skeleton in a screenshot from STALKER 2.

You'll find the Grom S-15 near the northern end of the Cooling Towers. Look for a shallow hole filled slightly with water, with a couple of fire anomalies inside. The Grom S-15 will be lying on the ground next to a skeleton. It includes an extended mag, an improved grip, and an underbarrel accessory.

Partner

A dialogue scene with Warlock in STALKER 2.(1)

The Partner marksman rifle can be found as part of an optional task during the quest "On the Edge," in which Warlock sends you after it. Just retrieve the sighted rifle from his house and then "forget" to return it to him.

Sledgehammer

The exterior of the Arena in STALKER 2.

The Sledgehammer shotgun is provided as a reward for completing all the Arena battles in STALKER 2, all of which are located in Rostov. It's basically an SPSA-14 with a scope.

Merc

The location of the Rostov Depot on STALKER 2's map.

The Merc (a gun, not a person) is located within the Rostov depot as pictured above. It can be found on a duffel bag on a shelf in a back room next to the tracks. It's a variant of the VS Vintar sniper with a shorter barrel, a better scope, an improved stock, and a different magazine.

Glutton

The location of the Under Exit in STALKER 2.

The Glutton is located beneath an under in the Rostok region of the map. You'll have to turn on the power in the under before heading upstairs and traveling through a gray door. The Glutton is inside. A modified LMG, it boasts great range and accuracy.

Trophy

You'll find the Trophy within the Chemical Plant region, in an area west of the Army Warehouses POI. In the location pictured above, you'll see a small concrete cylinder with a large hole blown in the side of it. Throw a grenade into that hole, and you'll hear three explosions.

STALKER 2's most important feature, weapon repairs, comes with a hefty price tag and isn't worth using yet. That could change in the future, though.

Follow the sound of the third to find the cache sitting inside a similar concrete structure. The highly enhanced Trophy assault rifle is inside, along with several other resources.

Spitfire

The Spitfire lying on a workbench in STALKER 2.

You'll find the Spitifre during the main mission "In Search of Past Glory." While returning to Dvupalov with the Suppressor blueprint, you'll see a pipe with a yellow ladder inside. Climb it and head through the door on your right to find the Spitfire on a workbench. You should also be able to return to this area later in case you've already completed the quest.

Gangster

The Gangster is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it variant of the M10 Gordon SMG with a different muzzle. You'll come across it during the main quest "A Minor Incident," during which it'll be lying on a table in the bunker.

Rat Killer

The Doctor outside his house in STALKER 2.

The Rat Killer SMG is located within the cable tunnel you have to travel through as part of the main mission "An Act of Mercy." It's in the room behind the Monolithian device, and has a unique skin with an upgraded grip.

Whip

The Whip sitting on The Doctor's table in STALKER 2.

While you're hanging out in The Doctor's house after finishing "An Act of Mercy," you'll see a marksman rifle on his desk called Whip. This is one of the best marksman rifles in the game, striking a balance between high rate of fire and accuracy. It does, however, come partially broken, so don't forget to take it to a technician before long.

Texan

The location of the Texan on STALKER 2's map.

The Texan is located in a derelict bunker near the Abandoned Science Buildings POI in the Prypiat region. It'll be on top of a steel table inside. This RAM-2 variant makes for an incredibly powerful shotgun, with much higher rate of fire, range, and accuracy than normal.

EM-1

Korshunov and Scar in Stalker 2.
Custom Image by Lee D'Amato

The EM-1 is your ultimate reward for choosing to side with the Ward during the final chapters of STALKER 2. During "The Last Step," you'll kill a particular NPC, after which you can take his EM-1. This is a modified version of the Gauss Gun with a higher mag capacity.

Beast

Close-up of Richter in STALKER 2, talking to the player character.

On the other hand, the ultimate reward for siding with Richter and Spark is the Beast, a modified RPM-74 LMG. You can pick it up off Korshunov's body during "Down Below."

Encourage

Star looking to his right in a screenshot from STALKER 2.

Encourage works just the same, and can be picked up off Korshunov's body after killing him. This is a highly accurate and penetrative variant of the APSB pistol.

Sotnyk

Strelok by an array of TV screens in STALKER 2.

Similarly, finding this Dnipro AR variant requires siding with Richter and Spark. It'll be located on a table next to Strelov when you speak with him after killing Korshunov.

Labyrinth IV

Richter in STALKER 2, standing on a crane overlooking the Zone.

And once again, you'll have to side with Richter to find the Labyrinth IV. It's easily found during "The Last Wish," as long as you choose not to kill The Doctor - it'll be located on the desk in his secret room. As such, it'll likely be the last unique weapon you find in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and can't be used in most normal playthroughs.
