characters who were in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, there are still plenty of characters that we don’t know the fate of.
With only a few New Republic Era, well after the events of the Galactic Civil War. Despite the time jump, many of the characters seen in Andor can still have interesting and meaningful storylines. With Andor now over, here are the surviving characters that could appear in Star Wars titles.
5 Kleya Marki
In Ahsoka Season 2 Or Dave Filoni’s Untitled Film
Kleya Marki has always been a great character, but audiences really got to see Elizabeth Dulau shine in Andor season 2’s final three episodes. Kleya’s intelligence, paired with her drive to make the galaxy a better place, makes her the perfect character to bring back. Seeing Kleya forces with generals like Hera Syndulla in Ahsoka season 2 as she and the New Republic face off against Grand iral Thrawn would be so interesting.

Andor Showrunner Reveals Where The Show's Surviving Heroes Fit Into The Star Wars Original Trilogy
Exclusive: Andor season 2 showrunner Tony Gilroy reveals where the show's surviving heroes fit into the events of the original Star Wars trilogy.
Kleya always sees the bigger picture and can handle multiple things going on at once, meaning she would be a good match for Thrawn’s incredibly strategic mind. It’s believed that Dave Filoni’s still-untitled movie will see Grand iral Thrawn as the big bad, and having Kleya be a key strategic force to once and for all defeat the Empire she fought against for so long would be vindicating.
4 Mon Mothma
In Ahsoka Season 2, The Mandalorian And Grogu, And/Or Dave Filoni’s Untitled Film
The Mandalorian and Grogu is set to premiere May 22, 2026.
Star Wars’ next title, and first theatrical release since 2019, will be The Mandalorian and Grogu. The film is set to take place squarely during Mon Mothma’s time as chancellor, and considering Din Djarin will be working (and seemingly causing some problems) for the New Republic, it’s not so far-fetched that Mothma will be there either to discipline or do damage control. At the moment, we don’t know when Mon Mothma steps down as chancellor, and this film could show the beginning of that storyline.
It’s known that she serves as the first Chancellor of the New Republic, but it’s never been discussed when she stepped away from the role or what she did afterward.
While Mon Mothma has stepped into her own as a character in the last few years, there’s still a lot we don’t know about her time in the New Republic Era. It’s known that she serves as the first Chancellor of the New Republic, but it’s never been discussed when she stepped away from the role or what she did afterward.
It would be interesting to see the end of Mon Mothma’s time as chancellor in Dave Filoni’s untitled film. Mothma could be blamed for the remilitarization of the New Republic and the lives lost in Thrawn’s attacks, forcing her to step down.
3 Vel Sartha
In Ahsoka Season 2 And Dave Filoni’s Untitled Film
Much like Kleya, Vel Sartha is a rebel at heart and does her best work when she's fighting for a cause. With Grand iral Thrawn back and a war impending, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Vel working on a “home base” for the New Republic while iral Ackbar engages Thrawn in battle in Ahsoka season 2. We saw Vel in Andor season 2 working in a non-combat role, so her working as a relay point for intelligence and directing the flow of information against Thrawn would suit her well.

The Death Star's Final Secrets Revealed: Andor Season 2 Ending Explained
The ending of Andor season 2 wraps up any lingering answers going into Rogue One’s story, including the final secrets about the Death Star.
Vel could also return in a similar way in Dave Filoni’s film. Vel could also be one of the people who steps up and engages in battle. Vel could give an emotional and poignant performance as someone who lost so much to the Empire and wants to see Thrawn and whatever is left of it finally burn. Either way, Vel is such a great character, and seeing her life after the loss of nearly everyone she cared about would be interesting, and I would be hopeful she found some kind of peace.
2 Wilmon Paak
In The Mandalorian And Grogu
Wilmon Paak seemingly survived the events of Rogue One, mainly because of the leg injury he sustained during the Ghorman Massacre. It would be great to see an older Wilmon take on a role similar to that of Zeb Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels. In the New Republic, Zeb is helping train recruited pilots, and with Wilmon’s battle experience, he would be great in a role like that.

10 Biggest Star Wars Questions We Have After Andor Season 2
Many storylines from Andor’s series finale feed right into Rogue One, but there are still some thrilling questions that remain unanswered.
Seeing Wilmon appear at a place like Adelphi Base and getting a drink with the likes of Captain Carson Teva and Zeb would be a great way to connect these stories as well. While Wilmon doesn’t need to have a big role, he would also likely get along well with someone like Din Djarin, making him the perfect Andor character to appear in The Mandalorian and Grogu. Wilmon and Din Djarin’s stories are fairly similar, so seeing them paired together could be interesting.
1 Bix Caleen & Her Child
In Star Wars: New Jedi Order
Bix Caleen’s ending in Andor season 2 was earned, but it is still so heartbreaking that she and her child will never see Cassian again. While Bix likely still has a lot of trauma associated with her time as a rebel and all the Empire took from her, hopefully, raising her and Cassian's child on a mostly peaceful planet like Mina-Rau gives her some sense of peace. If Star Wars wanted to bring back these two characters without having to engage in the New Republic/Mandoverse era, having them appear in Star Wars: New Jedi Order might be the way to go.
Since we know no other information about the child other than that their parents are Bix and Cassian, the potential storylines are endless.
The film is set to take place about 15 years after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 50 ABY. While Bix would be an old woman at this point, it would be interesting to see her take on a Maarva Andor-esque role. As for their child, it's possible they could assist or be a for Rey Skywalker as she continues to rebuild the Jedi Order.

Star Wars: New Jedi Order - Cast, Story, Timeline & Everything We Know
Rey's Star Wars return is happening in Star Wars: New Jedi Order. Here's what is known about the story, cast, and release of Daisy Ridley's film.
Since we know no other information about the child other than that their parents are Bix and Cassian, the potential storylines are endless. Above all else, however, if these characters and any of the rest do come back in a different Star Wars title, Lucasfilm needs to make sure they honor the incredible work and performances given in Andor.
