Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Andor season 2, episodes 4-6Andor season 2 episodes 4-6 surprisingly make a major Legends event canon, along with several other exciting Easter eggs, references, and connections to the greater Star Wars galaxy. As the crisis on the planet Ghorman continues to escalate, Imperial agents and Rebels alike are working to make the world a key frontline for deeper reasons than each side could ever know. Within this new arc, the episodes feature some very exciting ties, as well as callbacks to Andor's first season.

While Andor season 2's premiere episodes were set in the year 4 BBY, Andor season 2 episodes 4-6 are set a year later in 3 BBY. While it's been known for some time that the Ghorman Massacre is an event that will finally be seen on-screen in this new Star Wars show, these new episodes have also confirmed that the original Legends version of the event also occurred as a preceding tragedy for the Ghorman people. However, that's only one of several exciting Easter eggs and references we found in Andor season 2 episodes 4-6.

The planet Ghorman is visited by multiple characters, where it's revealed that the Ghors have their own language and alphabet, especially created for Andor season 2. It's also been confirmed that the Ghorman people were heavily inspired by French and Italian revolutionaries during WWII.

26 The Tarkin Massacre

Andor Season Does NOT Rewrite Legends!

In Legends, the Ghorman Massacre was an event where Grand Moff Tarkin landed his cruiser on a crowd of peaceful protesters, killing several innocents. While the Ghorman Massacre and its casualties are now far greater in canon, Andor season 2 episode 4 confirms the "Tarkin Massacre" still happened as a prior tragedy.

25 The Rimma Trade Route

A Major Hyperspace Lane

Ghorman and Rimma Trade Route

Andor season 2 also confirms that Ghorman is located near the Rimma Trade Route, a major hyperspace route running through several key worlds.

24 Too Much Imperial News

(Good Morning Coruscant)

Good Morning Coruscant Andor Season 2

When Syril's mother starts sharing anti-Ghorman sentiments, he chastises her for watching too much Imperial News (speaking to the Empire's intentional smear campaign). Later on, the Imperial News channel "Good Morning, Coruscant!" is shown.

23 Classic Star Wars Audio

The Sounds of Coruscant and More

Multiple classic pieces of Star Wars audio can be heard. There are sounds of Coruscant, like ing speeders, which have been heard since The Phantom Menace. The elevator Lonni Jung uses to meet with Luthen sounds the same as the elevator used by Anakin and Obi-Wan in Revenge of the Sith, and the engine dying on the transport sabotaged by the Ghormans sounds exactly like The Millennium Falcon's failing hyperdrive in The Empire Strikes Back.

22 Podraces!

Podracing in Andor Season 2

Two Imperial officers on Ghorman are shown watching podraces on a monitor, confirming the classic Star Wars sport still exists during the Imperial era. Engines that sound remarkably like Sebulba's podracer can be heard as well.

21 The Ghorman Front

First Referenced in Andor Season 1

The Ghorman Front is shown trying to recruit Syril and sabotage Imperial operations. The group was first referenced by Saw Gerrera in Andor season 1.

20 Yularen And Partagaz Spoke With The Emperor

Col. Yularen Was In Andor Season 1, Rebels, and Clone Wars

The ISB's Colonel Yularen is referenced multiple times in Andor season 2, episodes 4-6. Having been shown on-screen in Andor season 1, Yularen also served alongside Anakin Skywalker and the 501st Legion during the Clone Wars.

19 Imperial Senate Building

Still The Same Domed Exterior

The Imperial Senate building is shown more than once in Andor season 2 (the same building seen during the prequels).

18 D’Qar

Saw's Partisans Were Based There First

Star Wars D'Qar

It's revealed that Saw Gerrera and his Partisans were temporarily based on the planet D'Qar. As seen in the sequels, D'Qar became the base of operations for General Leia Organa and the Resistance, as seen in The Force Awakens.
