Andor season 2 has delivered some of the best Star Wars storytelling ever, packed with moments that left viewers speechless.

While I'm sad that the show will end after only two seasons, I'm also extremely excited to see what the cast and crew have in store for us. After reviewing the previous episodes, I've come up with 10 predictions that I either think are very likely to happen or would love to see. I'm sure I'll love what the writers deliver no matter what, but for now, here's what I think we can expect in Andor's final episodes.

10 The Final Arc Will Be An Homage To Andor's Original Premise

Cassian and K-2SO going on a mission

I find it hilarious that K-2SO isn't appearing as a main character until the final arc, but that's only because of what the show could have been. Andor was originally pitched as a more episodic show about Cassian Andor and K-2SO going on missions every week, similar to the formula of The Mandalorian. However, Tony Gilroy realized this premise was a dead end and created a new pitch for the fantastic show we got.

Since the previous episode ended with K-2SO's "birth," it's safe to assume that Cassian's portion of the last three episodes will focus on the two of them. This is a good way to lead directly into Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and also a fun nod to what the show could have been under different circumstances. It also shows what the show's ending could have been if Andor was a five-season story like Gilroy wanted.

9 Cassian Will Meet Characters From Star Wars Rebels

At least a few of them are on Yavin 4

Andor wisely avoids excessive fan service whenever possible, but I think there's a good chance we'll see a few Star Wars Rebels characters in the finale. The previous arc connected to Star Wars Rebels season 3, episode 18 "Secret Cargo," showing how Cassian helped Mon Mothma escape Coruscant before the Ghost crew took her to Yavin 4. We know Hera Syndulla and Chopper were on Yavin during Rogue One and fought at the Battle of Scarif.

Mon Mothma’s story ended quite abruptly in Andor season 2, episode 9, but that’s because they left out one of her best Star Wars moments.

The Mandalorian season 3 showed that Zeb Orrelios eventually trained New Republic pilots, so he could be on Yavin too. There's also Captain Rex, assuming Temuera Morrison was available to film another clone cameo. However, I think the character that makes the most sense is Kallus, a former ISB agent who defected to the Rebellion in Star Wars Rebels season 3.

8 Cassian Will Get Closure On His Sister

The search that kicked off the series

Young Cassian Andor looking at a ship crashing in episode 1

Although it hasn't been mentioned in a while, I think it would be fitting for Cassian to get closure on his long-lost sister, Kerri. His efforts to find her set the whole series in motion, and he only had Maarva's word that there were no survivors on Kenari. Perhaps the ISB will track her down or make Cassian think they have her to lure him into a trap, using their records to confirm her fate.

7 We'll Get A Conversation Between B2 and K2

Cassian's two best droid friends bantering at Yavin

Cassian and his friends were forced to leave B2EMO behind in the first arc of season 2, so I really hope he can return for the final episodes. It would also be hilarious to see him interact with K-2SO, as they're very different but also blunt, another new take on the classic R2-D2 and C-3PO dynamic. There was also a popular theory about B2 becoming K2, and while this didn't happen, seeing them banter could be just as satisfying.

6 Syril Will Be Honored As A Hero Of The Empire

Only getting in death what he craved in life

Syril Karn was brutally killed off in the previous arc, but I don't think the show is done with him quite yet. I think it would be poetic if Syril got what he always wanted and was honored as a hero of the Empire, only for it to cost him his life. Perhaps there will be a ceremony for him and the other Imperials who died at Ghorman, with Dedra knowing her betrayal led to Syril's death.

5 The Empire Will Punish Mon Mothma By Executing Her Family

Andor forces its characters to sacrifice everything for the Rebellion

When Andor season 1 revealed that Mon Mothma had a family, fans wondered where they were later in the timeline. While they may go into hiding, or protect themselves by denouncing Mon publicly, I think it's far more likely that the Empire will execute them. What better way to punish the leader of the Rebellion than by making her loved ones suffer for it?

It would completely recontextualize Mon's story, knowing how much she sacrificed to lead the Rebellion and found the New Republic.

This would be the canon equivalent to Mon's greatest loss in the Legends timeline, where she had a son who was killed during the Battle of Hoth. It would completely recontextualize Mon's story, knowing how much she sacrificed to lead the Rebellion and found the New Republic. Her cousin Vel Sartha may be safe since she's already with the Rebellion, but it would be more powerful for Mon to lose her entire family.

4 Luthen Will Die Saving His Informant In The ISB

Burning his life for someone else's future

Andor has made it obvious that Luthen Rael will die, so now it's just a matter of how it will happen. This season has continued to emphasize how Luthen is willing to sacrifice his people and divide them against each other so they're easier to use, but maybe he'll decide to make things as right as possible at the end. Saving his informant, Lonni Jung, from the clutches of the ISB would also lead to another long-awaited outcome.

3 Luthen & Dedra Will Finally Meet Face To Face

She's been obsessed with finding "Axis" since season 1

Although Dedra Meero was assigned to Ghorman, season 2 established that she is still obsessed with finding "Axis." After all the maneuvering these two have done behind the scenes, it would be awesome if Dedra finally got to see the man who gave her and the ISB so much trouble. Maybe Luthen will show up in his disguise and woo Dedra at an event, only for her to realize too late who he really is.

2 Bix Will Kill Dedra

The woman who oversaw her torture in season 1

Bix Caleen made the heartbreaking decision to leave Cassian in the previous episode, but I'm confident she still has a role to play in the final episodes. She's struggled with her trauma from being tortured all season, culminating in her killing Dr. Gorst before his heinous methods could be expanded into a program. Since Dedra oversaw and approved Bix's torture, there's a good chance she could be next on Bix's list.

1 There Will Be An Epilogue Set After Rogue One

A pattern set by the animated Star Wars shows

Andor may be a prequel, and the final episodes will lead into Rogue One, but there's good reason to believe that there will be an epilogue set after the movie. The animated shows Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch all ended with short epilogue scenes set years after the events of each series. This doesn't guarantee Andor will do the same, but I think it could work really well.

Considering what Cassian and so many other rebels will sacrifice in Rogue One, it would be interesting to see how the characters who survive react to the events of the movie. It would also give a more satisfying conclusion within the show itself, rather than simply relying on Rogue One as the proper series finale. Whether or not any of my predictions come true, I cannot wait to see what happens in Andor's final episodes.

Andor's series finale premieres Tuesday, May 13 at 9 PM EST/6 PM PST exclusively on Disney+.
