Hot on the heels of lack of content, Game developer EA has released multiple DLC expansions to open up the gaming experience.

In addition to the initial maps and modes, DLC content has allowed players to Rogue One: Scarif is the title of the final expansion and EA has released a trailer to show players what is in store for them.

As can be seen in the flashy video above, EA is promising to deliver a Star Wars experience that combines the gameplay found in Battlefront so far with the world that will be seen in Rogue One. An official description of the expansion can be found here:

Star Wars™ Battlefront™ Rogue One: Scarif has new and exciting content inspired by Rogue One™: A Star Wars™ Story.

Battle across four new maps on the tropical planet of Scarif. Play as two new heroes Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic, and blast opponents in a brand new multi-stage game mode with new weapons and Star Cards.

Season Owners, play Rogue One: Scarif on December 6.

Clearly the big addition is getting to play on Scarif, a planet that has only been seen in the trailers for Rogue One so far. It's a tropical location, which is a significant change from what has been seen in the past and is the location for a big battle in the film. The new multi-stage game mode has not been completely detailed as of yet, but it will likely be similar to the game mode found in the Death Star expansion. This mode had players fighting in space, followed by a mission to recover R2-D2 and ending with a Death Star trench run. The addition of Orson Krennic to the heroes and villains list is also worth noting, as they will surely have special weapons and abilities, much like the others.

While some are still annoyed by just now getting a Battlefront game that is Bespin expansion, which really felt significant.

Star Wars: Battlefront is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Rogue One: Scarif DLC expansion arrives December 6.
