Most people cite the Luke and Artoo relationship as one of the best, and so it is, but there is not enough talk about Anakin's relationship with the astromech.

When you look at The Clone Wars especially, you see the care the two have for each other, and both the trust and love that are between them. The same can be said about Artoo and Luke, too, making them pretty interchangeable relationships.

From there, the two form an evident bond that culminates in them becoming Generals together in the Resistance. The Clones

The clones undoubtedly deserve mention. It is hard to pick just a pair or group of clones, as they are all brothers, and while some are much closer than others, there are battalions of clones, all with their relationships.

Look at Cody and Rex, or Domino Squad, or Echo and Rex; basically, anyone in the 501st, the love, and comradery between them are irable, and a significant factor in what helped them shape their individuality.

Poe Dameron & BB-8

Poe and BB-8 are the first friendship we see in the sequel trilogy, with them being in the opening sequence of The Force Awakens, and it quickly becomes clear how much they love each other.

BB-8's reaction when he thinks Poe is dead is very sad, and the moment when the reunite is full of joy. They make clear how good of a duo they are, and how close they are multiple times throughout the trilogy.

The Ghost Crew

There is a true family feel about the group, and you could feel how much it affected all of them when Kanan ed. Ezra, a former lothrat with no family brought into this crew, is the perfect example of how close and caring the group is with each other.

Obi-Wan Kenobi & Anakin Skywalker

The top four on this list really could all be placed at number one, and Anakin and Obi-Wan's relationship is definitely deserving of being at least next to the top spot.

Thanks again to The Clone Wars, the relationship of these two developed massively and grew into much more than it was in the prequels where it already was pretty great. As Obi-Wan said, they were brothers.

Ahsoka Tano & Captain Rex (& Anakin Skywalker)

Anakin presents Captain Rex and the 501st to Ahsoka in Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7.

R2-D2 & C-3PO

"You've been a great friend to me, R2. My best one, in fact." a quote that will bring a smile to your face, a tear to your eye, and satisfaction to your soul with verbal confirmation how much these two love each other.

The bickering nature of the pair has always been a standout aspect of the movies, particularly the original trilogy, but despite the bickering fans always know how much they love each other and it is truly one of the saga's greatest relationships.
