The long-awaited Disney+. It’s been revealed that the popular Prequel-Era animated series will finally premiere its originally planned final season on the new online streaming service on Monday, February 17.
Set in the time between Star Wars Rebels, leaving several plots unresolved. At least, until the advent of Disney+, which is set to feature a new season of The Clone Wars as an exclusive for the service.

While scoffed at by fans early in its run due to a fear of it being watered-down and childish, the series quickly won over viewers due to its complex themes, gripping storylines and high-quality animation that grew more sophisticated over time. In particular, the character of Ahsoka evolved from a character fans scorned to a beloved mainstay of the franchise, and went on to have a ing role in the second season of Rebels and a brief, voice-only cameo in The Rise Of Skywalker. Since the show’s announced cancellation, fans rallied to bring it back, finally getting their wish in 2018.
With highly anticipated Disney+ shows on the way, it’d be safe to say that Disney+ is on a roll when it comes to Star Wars. Having one last season of The Clone Wars is surely welcome news for fans, as the series provided some of the best onscreen stories in the galaxy far, far away. Viewers won’t have to wait much longer to get more of the beloved series, and fans will finally see Ahsoka and company again when season seven of Star Wars: The Clone Wars premieres on Monday, February 17.
