telling stories in the new era as soon as January 2021. However, the various current Star Wars comic series from Marvel have already been making teases and references here and there, and the latest Doctor Aphra series is the next one to do so in its second issue.
The first reference comes at the beginning of was full of heroes and grand adventures that are reported to be almost Arthurian in fashion. The second reference in the issue is a bit more intriguing with some interesting implications for the Rings Aphra's crew is searching for in the present. As they walk down, the walls are covered in mural paintings depicting not only the Rings, but High Republic iconography according to Aphra. This seems to indicate that the Rings could be from that same era, making them the first High Republic artifacts fans will see until the High Republic books release. This can only make them more valuable in Aphra's eyes (as well as for Tagge).
Hopefully, Aphra and company will be able to locate, secure, and sell the Rings for a high profit before Tagge can get his hands on them. Star Wars fans will have to wait and see as Doctor Aphra continues.
