Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, McGregor and Winstead ed introducing their son Laurie to Grogu - his favorite character. Lucasfilm made this happen even though Grogu wasn't in Ahsoka, with the puppeteers working to bring Grogu to life before their son's eyes. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a little too lifelike. It was too weird, too realistic, and Laurie didn't stop screaming the whole time.

Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2: News, Updates, & Everything We Know
Is Obi-Wan Kenobi season 2 happening? Here's everything we know about a potential second season starring Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan.
The Line Between Reality & Fiction Was A Little Too Blurred
The idea was a sweet one, of course, but young children don't always handle the line between reality and fiction being blurred. It's not uncommon for children of Laurie's age to scream at fancy-dress, because they aren't really old enough to understand what's happening. In this case, what was supposed to be a magical moment turned into a winceworthy one that McGregor and Winstead can at least laugh at now.
Ahsoka season 2 is in the works, and Winstead's return as Hera Syndulla is inevitable. What's more, it wouldn't be a surprise to see her share some screen time with Grogu himself going forward, given The Mandalorian season 3's ending saw Din Djarin sign up to work with the New Republic - and Winstead's character is a notable New Republic general. Laurie will be a little older, so hopefully future meetings with Grogu will go a little better.
