Ahsoka Season 2 Will See A New Beginning For Sabine And Ahsoka

Ahsoka season 1 saw major character updates for both Sabine and Ahsoka. In fact, it wasn't until Ahsoka season 1 that Sabine's Jedi path was revealed. In Rebels, Sabine hadn't shown any Force sensitivity, and the notion that Ahsoka would become her Jedi Master hadn't been indicated. However, the first several episodes of Ahsoka also confirmed that Sabine didn't exactly have a natural ability with the Force. Rather, she had to work quite hard to tap into the Force.

However, the season finale saw Sabine finally successfully use the Force, impressively pushing Ezra Bridger through the air and safely onto a ship. Just as importantly, Ahsoka also underwent a massive transformation in Ahsoka season 1. Specifically, after years of conflict over whether she was a Jedi and prolonged grief and guilt over all that had happened with Anakin Skywalker and the Jedi, Ahsoka entered the World Between Worlds and encountered her former Jedi Master once again.

With this reunion, Ahsoka learned to embrace the title of Jedi and emerged from the World Between Worlds as 'Ahsoka the White,' a true Jedi. Now, Ahsoka season 2 will see Ahsoka and Sabine as a true master and apprentice duo, which could mean thrilling updates to both characters. Surely, both will grow in their connection to the Force.

This transformation for Sabine and Ahsoka will be particularly imperative given Thrawn's return to the main Star Wars galaxy in the Ahsoka finale. Hera Syndulla, Ezra, and the other New Republic fighters will no doubt need all the help they can get to defeat Thrawn and the other Imperial remnants, and undoubtedly, the more Jedi, the better. As this brilliant Star Wars cosplay has reinforced, the return of Sabine Wren in Ahsoka season 2 is sure to be exciting.
