- With both stuck on Peridea, Shin and Sabine's future as potential allies raises intriguing possibilities, following other unlikely Star Wars partnerships.
Two incredible Star Wars cosplayers have effortlessly recreated Ahsoka. Sabine Wren and Shin Hati were interesting foils for one another – Sabine, while a skilled Mandalorian fighter, was at a distinct disadvantage while fighting with a lightsaber, while Shin, who had much more training, often let her anger and recklessness get the best of her. Their battles were intense, personal, and driven by frustration, making their scenes together in Ahsoka all the more compelling, whether they were fighting or not. Now that both Sabine and Shin are stuck on Peridea in another galaxy, there’s no telling what will happen next.
Reddit Sabine Wren and Shin Hati’s duels in front of an imposing building. As some of the comments on the original post mention, one might almost be forgiven for thinking breadcattt’s photograph was an actual behind-the-scenes image instead.
Their Sabine and Shin costumes are flawless, and their fighting stances are immediately reminiscent of these characters’ duels on Lothal and Seatos. Shin’s accurate orange lightsaber and Sabine’s brilliant green lightsaber complete this convincing ensemble.

Ahsoka Season 2: Story, Updates, Everything We Know
Ahsoka season 2 is confirmed and has received exciting new story and filming updates. Here's everything we know about the Star Wars project.
Could Sabine Wren And Shin Hati Become More Than Enemies?
After the Ahsoka season 1 finale, Shin’s future is unclear. Star Wars will have to deal with the tragic loss of Ray Stevenson, who played Shin’s master, Baylan Skoll, and figure out a new storyline for her. Stuck on an unfamiliar planet with no allies and no way to get home, Shin will likely be forced to turn to Ahsoka Tano and Sabine for help. Without Baylan’s influence and the pull of the dark side, Shin might be tempted to turn and embrace the light. Ahsoka even offered Shin a place with them, so she may have to take her up on that offer, however reluctantly.

The mysterious Shin Hati was recruited by Baylan Skoll as a Dark Jedi Padawan. Like her master, Shin operated within the shadows until the Mandalorian era, when the duo took on a job for Morgan Elsbeth - one that took them to the distant planet Peridea. Shin is now stranded on Peridea as is the woman who has become her rival, Sabine Wren.

A Mandalorian rebel, Sabine is a technological genius whose ideas were turned against her own people by the Empire. She served as an important member of the Lothal cell for years, only to return to her own people for a time with the knowledge and skills she had cultivated. More recently, Sabine has unlocked her nascent ability to access the Force, becoming Ahsoka Tano's Padawan.

If Sabine and Shin do become allies, perhaps even friends (or something more), they’ll be following in the footsteps of plenty of other unlikely Star Wars partnerships. Ahsoka Tano herself worked with the former assassin Asajj Ventress during the Clone Wars, Sabine’s friend, the Jedi Ezra Bridger, temporarily allied himself with Darth Maul in Star Wars Rebels, and most famously of all, Rey and Kylo Ren ed forces to defeat Supreme Leader Snoke together in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Sabine Wren and Shin Hati are incredibly compelling as enemies in Ahsoka, but there is so much they could do together if they became something else entirely.
