Alden Ehrenreich has expressed his willingness to return as Han Solo after Star Wars movies are concerned, Solo's future remains uncertain.

That said, star Alden Ehrenreich's stance on returning as Han Solo is quite clear, as evidenced during an interview with Access Hollywood. At D23 2024, Ehrenreich made an appearance due to his role in Marvel Studios' Ironheart. Naturally, The actor was asked about Han Solo, including whether he was willing to return in the future despite the slim chances of Solo 2 ever happening. Check out Ehrenreich's comments below:

"Yeah, maybe, if it's the right version of it. You know, it's such a fun character, and the story that I did is kind of the making of Han Solo. So I got to really be like the Han Solo we know and love in the last bit of the movie, and if it was the right thing it'd be fun to play him and be the guy in that way."

While Ehrenreich's comments are promising given he was great as Han Solo, his comments may have provided an insight into why Solo: A Star Wars Story bombed at the box office. As Ehrenreich rightfully points out, his character was a different version of Han Solo for two-thirds of the movie. It was only in the final act that Ehrenreich truly began embodying the Han Solo fans are familiar with, even though his performance before this was fantastic too.
