Stardew Valley's massive 1.6 Update may be a few months old but that's not stopping fans from uncovering all manner of discoveries in the middle of their own homes. When it comes to decorating one's house, ConcernedApe spoiled the Stardew Valley community by including hundreds of unique items that can be placed to create the perfect abode. As it turns out, certain items that one wouldn't normally consider to be decorative can take on a different form when paired with the appropriate display.

Posted to Reddit by emmigator113, the player revealed that placing Clay within a fish tank transforms the chunk of dirt into a little castle.

This fun interaction is presumably a secret feature that was added in the 1.6 Update, especially since the majority of people commenting on the post weren't aware of the decoration. It's certainly a fun and inexpensive way to add some life to personal fish tanks, even if it does take away some space from the fishy inhabitants; it serves as a good excuse to invest in an even larger fish tank.

Stardew Valley 1.6 Is Littered With Secrets

With A Community Like This, Nothing Stays A Secret

The 1.6 Update added plenty of obvious improvements to Stardew Valley, but some of the most enjoyable new content was intentionally left out of the patch notes, allowing players to share their discoveries. One of the best mechanics that was quietly slipped into the game is the ability to give the Farmer's horse a day-long speed boost by feeding them a carrot. It's a fun Easter egg, one that makes sense given how essential having a horse can be when trying to optimize one's time.

One of the best secrets in Stardew Valley 1.6 is a reference to fellow indie titan Terraria. Players who manage to make it into the back of The Wizard's house after sacrificing an a sword that fires rainbow projectiles that deal a substantial amount of damage. A similar weapon can be obtained in Terraria, making for a fun in-joke between the two communities.

It's highly likely that the Stardew Valley community has yet to expose arrival of the highly anticipated 1.7 Update if that is indeed on the cards.
