An unconfirmed leak claims to have uncovered a number of early E3 2018, little information has been revealed about it since. No release date or platforms have been confirmed, but it is known that Starfield is slated to be Bethesda Softworks' first release since being acquired by Xbox Game Studios.
Starfield has been the subject of frequent speculation and supposed leaks over the past few years. A recent tease from a reputable Bethesda production.
As reported by Wccftech, another Starfield leak appears to show off the game's head-up display and both third and first-person views. These images show off what appears to be a space station interior, with the third-person view showing off the player character wearing a realistically bulky spacesuit - each of which match previous leaked screenshots. The game's head-up display is also visible, showing off health and stamina meters alongside what may be an oxygen gauge and holstered shotgun.
Other supposed screenshots also show what appears to be a first-person mode, a staple of Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls RPGs. Notable Bethesda insider Skullzi took to Twitter to vouch for the authenticity of the leaks. The gaming news streamer claims that the screenshots were taken from a 2018 build of the game and that the game's current build appears much more polished.
As with any highly anticipated title, rumors about Starfield often prove to be inaccurate and are often contradictory. A notable video game industry insider, Jeff Grubb, stated last month that has also been delayed from an originally planned 2021 release.
With the wild success of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series, both of which have developed massive fanbases over the years, it should be no surprise that gamers are excited about Starfield. Unfortunately, little news about the massive role-playing game has been revealed since its announcement. While these leaked images may be authentic, they may be from very early in development and provide no indication of when Starfield gameplay will be revealed to the world.
