The remake of Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar plans to revisit the beloved Harvest Moon game of the same name, with a few new twists. The game is a remake, not a remaster, so fans can expect quality-of-life updates and visual upgrades as they work toward reopening the titular Bazaar of Zephyr Town. And as the farmers go about their daily farming lives, they might just find some romance, too.

All 10 of the original romanceable characters are returning to SoS: Grand Bazaar, available once again for players to woo with their blue feathers. But that's not all: Two new romance options have been added to the game, meaning that players will have 12 potential marriage options. This time around, every NPC you can fall in love with will also be fully voice-acted by a professional actor you may just recognize from other videogame and anime voiceover work.

12 Amir Is The Mysterious Outsider

Voiced By Takeo Ootsuko

The white-haired, dark-skinned Amir is a mysterious international student who came to Zephyr Town from a long way away to see the bazaar. While Amir seems to be known to the mayor, he's otherwise a mystery to the player. The calm and reserved character seems out of place in the town, and there's good reason for that: he's actually a prince from a faraway land. Amir has traveled far to the town to take a break from the responsibilities of royalty.

Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar Release Date, Platforms, & Gameplay Details

Return to the town of Zephyr in this Nintendo DS remake, Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, the latest cozy farming sim coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Amir is one of the more difficult characters to romance since he's only around from fall through winter (unless you marry him, at which point he'll stay at the farm). He's also a secret marriage candidate, which makes it a little more challenging to pursue him because you can't see his heart color.

11 Angelo Is A Gentle And Creative Artist

Voiced By Wataru Urata

The gentle Angelo lets life take him wherever it wants, going with the flow of the town and his own whims. He's the resident artist and can usually be found sketching in some corner of the town or another.

Angelo loves nature and enjoys wandering around Zephyr Town looking for inspiration. He's rarely found without his drawing utensils, but when he's not painting, he also enjoys a good meal. The kindhearted soul is the perfect companion for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar players who enjoy seeing their surroundings from an artist's point of view.

10 Ivan Is A Responsible Mentor And Older Brother

Voiced By Yuuma Uchida

Ivan is a mature and serious character who works as a tutor in the city. It's a job he's particularly well-suited for since he's filled the role of caregiver for his younger brother, Dirk, since the death of their parents. Rather than buckling under the pressure as many others would have, the experience has made Ivan mature, patient, and someone you can count on to be there when you need him.

Though they're older now, Ivan is still always looking out for Dirk. This means that in order to marry Ivan, you'll also need to befriend Dirk—but be wary of getting too close to both! If you reach the maximum heart with both brothers, you'll need to lower the affection of one to marry the other. After all, we don't want to start any rivalry for our affections between the close-knit duo.

9 Dirk Is A Lively And Energetic Friend To Everyone

Voiced By Shoya Chiba

This lively young man is a major contrast to his older brother, Ivan. While Ivan is serious and mature, Dirk is lively and can appear somewhat childish in his enthusiasm. His bright and optimistic demeanor and his willingness to always lend a hand earn him friends easily.

Dirk's positivity sometimes gives way to feelings of inadequacy, brought on by living in the shadow of his successful and mature older brother, talking a surprisingly difficult subject for such a cozy title. However, this doesn't stop him from meeting every challenge head-on and appreciating Ivan's sacrifices to raise him. Of course, you'll need to befriend Ivan to marry Dirk, as well.

8 Lloyd Is A Serious Traveler And Merchant

Voiced By Kouki Uchiyama

The bespectacled Lloyd can seem standoffish and difficult to approach due to his serious, no-nonsense personality. Once his cool exterior is breached, though, the character is found to have countless interesting stories about his travels and a knack for telling them in an engaging way.

Lloyd doesn't have any family in Zephyr Town, but he was welcomed into the town by Felix and his daughter Sophie, and has remained good friends with them since then. In fact, the bond between Lloyd and Sophie is so strong that in order to marry Sophie, players will also have to become friends with Lloyd.

Lloyd owns a stall in the bazaar where he sells minerals and gems. He doesn't warm up to people quickly, but befriending him is worth the effort since underneath the hard shell is an honest and kind marriage option for players who want a more mature and experienced partner.

7 Antoinette Is A Lonely Clothes Designer

Voiced By Uchida Maaya

Don't let her icy demeanor fool you—underneath the prickly exterior, the impeccably dressed Antoinette is quite lonely and could use a friend. Her father lives and works in the town but rarely has time to come and see her, and her mother is a famous fashion designer who's usually away from home, I imagine traveling around the world much like Infinity Nikki.

Antoinette doesn't make friends easily, which means she's often alone and yearning for companionship but unable to express this. Players who manage to befriend the slightly antisocial Antoinette will discover that, like her mother, Antoinette has a ion for deg and creating beautiful clothes and accessories. She can also be quite warm and caring towards the people she cares about, though she doesn't show this side to many.

6 Daisy Is A Hardworking But Clumsy Maid

Voiced By Nao Touyama

Daisy is the live-in maid at the hotel, where she's seen more like the granddaughter of the owners than the hired help. The hardworking Daisy always does her best, even if her best often ends up getting her mixed up in messes of her own making.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma gives players a lot of romance options to choose from, who are varied in ideology, manners, style, and looks.

Unfortunately, Daisy is clumsy and prone to making mistakes, which makes her job quite a bit more difficult. She doesn't let this stop her, though, remaining cheerful all the time. Daisy comes from a big, loving family and often spends her free time playing with her younger siblings.

5 Emiko Is An Enigmatic Shrine Maiden

Voiced By Megumi Nure

The mysterious maiden Emiko isn't part of the town and must instead be found in her secret location outside of Zephyr. Emiko makes her home behind a waterfall where she's responsible for tending and maintaining the water shrine. She doesn't interact with others much and players will find themselves needing to explain even the most basic concepts to her, like what you actually do on a farm.

Emiko is a difficult character to romance because she's not openly available for talking or gift-giving. Players don't meet her until the second year, and even once the path to her shrine opens up, it's not accessible during the winter or on rainy days. Emiko is also the only character who won't move in with you once you're married, continuing to fulfill her duties at the shrine and only visiting the farm late at night.

4 Freya Is Career-Minded And Independent

Voiced By Ai Kakuma

Freya is a career woman through and through, dedicated to her job in the city. This means she can get absorbed in her work, making her a bit unapproachable since she puts her career first. Interacting with Freya reveals her to be kind and polite, though she lives alone and has no friends in Zephyr Town.

Freya enjoys challenges, is vocal about what she wants, and seems comfortable (not lonely) in her solitary nature. Players who want to romance this strong, independent woman will often find her hanging out at the café after work or taking walks around the town on weekends.

3 Sophie Is The Bright And Cheerful Mayor's Daughter

Voiced By Ishimi Manaka

Sophie (known as Sherry in the original Harvest Moon version of the game) is the mayor's daughter, and she takes this role very seriously. She loves her town and always ensures that its residents are happy. She does this by spreading her infectious bubbly cheerfulness, always smiling brightly.

"[Sophie has an] infectious bubbly cheerfulness, always smiling brightly."

When she's not spreading joy and cheer among the residents of Zephyr Town or taking walks around the town, Sophie sells tree seeds at the Bazaar. Befriending Sophie is easy since she's friends with everyone, but getting close enough to her for marriage to be on the cards requires the player to befriend both Felix (her father and the mayor of the town) and the serious Lloyd (her good friend).
