how Eleven will regain her powers and how she will reunite with Hopper.

Last season also saw the group divided, not only through the entire conflict (as it usually happens, with all of them ing forces at some point) but at the very end, as the Byers and Eleven moved out of Hawkins, leaving fans wondering if they will be able to continue fighting against monsters and humans together in season 4. Meanwhile, in Russia, Hopper is being held captive and forced to work in a chain gang. If that’s not enough, the the Russians have successfully opened a gate to the Upside Down, and now have (at least) one Demogorgon in a cage.

The teasers released so far haven’t shown any monsters yet, but there’s one subtle detail in the one titled “From Russia With Love” that has made some fans wonder if the key to Hopper’s escape from prison will be none other than the Demogorgon.

Stranger Things Theory: How The Demogorgon Will Help Hopper Escape

Stranger Things confirms Hopper is the American season 4

The teaser trailer Stranger Things dropped on Valentine’s Day confirmed Russians’ Demogorgon approaching, and he’s obviously aware of what the creature is capable of.

A theory suggests that the Demogorgon will find its way out of the prison/lab in Kamchatka and go on a killing spree. Hopper is surely the only one at the base that knows very well what a Demogorgon can do, and knows that it can’t be good to have one running wild and free. The guards would then turn their attention to the monster attacking their people, and this is when Hopper will see an opportunity to escape – not just from the monster, but from the Russians. This, of course, would kickstart how Hopper will escape from the Russians, but it also leaves a lot of questions in the air – but that’s up to the writers of Stranger Things to figure out.
