Stranger Things star Sadie Sink reveals that she still has no idea what lies ahead for Max following season 4's major cliffhanger. This summer saw Stranger Things return to Netflix, bringing an immense number of horrors and heartbreaks across its long-awaited season 4. Starring Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Stranger Things explores the supernatural happenings that plague the town of Hawkins, Indiana, thanks to its connection to a dark alternate reality known as the Upside Down. Stranger Things season 4 also introduced Jamie Campbell Bower's Vecna, a vicious villain who is set to now seek revenge as audiences look to season 5.

One character who had a particularly rough time throughout Stranger Things season 4 was Sink's Max Mayfield, after spending the season attempting to evade Vecna and his murderous ways. Following season 4's cliffhanger ending, Sink has revealed to ELLE that she has no idea what will happen to Max in season 5. The star revealed that she has yet to read any scripts or even hear anything from the show's creators, the Duffer brothers, sharing that she is desperate to know what happens as she has a lot of questions. Check out Sink's quote below.

I have not read any scripts; I haven’t heard anything. I really want them to tell me what’s happening, because I have a lot of questions. But we’ll get them when we get them. It’s the final season. We’re not rushing anything. We’re going to take their time on this one [and] get it right.
