The writers of Stranger Things season 5 are going to get started on the new scripts very soon. Fans of the Netflix original series are still recovering following the blockbuster season 4 finale. Stranger Things, which began in 2016, follows the other-worldly terrors tormenting the youngsters of the quaint town of Hawkins. The gang of teens including Mike, Lucas, Will, Dustin, Max, and more have faced demons, conspiracies, and portals to another plane known as the Upside Down with help from telekinetic superhuman Eleven.

In Stranger Things season 4, fans have been treated to feature-length episodes in an epic beginning-of-the-end story arc. All the fan-favorite characters have ed forces to fight the fearsome Upside Down villain Vecna. Following the first seven episodes dropping on Netflix in June, the season was officially concluded with two more huge episodes last week, but despite all the climactic action, the Stranger Things season 4 finale left the door open for one final confrontation to save Hawkins. A series-ending season 5 was previously confirmed and now has more excitement around it than ever, with eager fans hoping they won’t have to wait too long to revisit the Upside Down.
